As an aside, we are on Sky in April immediately after her TA.
It will be interessting to see if all the cabins recieve kettles, mugs, tea bags etc during the short turn round !
It is a lot of extra work for the stewards on an already busy day.
Unless you have parking as part of your select package, I cannot imagine why anyone would now use CPS, given their new, sky high prices. It is as if they are deliberately driving (sic) customers away.
As I just said, it woukd have been because she did not fully declare her full medical history.
I do agree that it is unfair, if it is actually true.
Where is MegaBear when you need an insurance expert !
That does seem extremely far fetched. Do you actually know this for a fact, or, as you say, it is just something you heard, from an unnamed source ?
But, even if it is true, the issue is that the lady did not declare her full medical history. That would have been the resson the claim was denied.
We declare everything, and then opt out of the conditions being covered.
I think you are one of many ! Just too much of a faff, and for someone like me, who is happy with a simple cup of "builders", just a waste of time.
One of those things that people buy and then put in a drawer and forget about.
No idea what a Brown Betty is (doesn't sound politically correct !) but yes, you get assorted tea bags, coffee sachets (normal and decaff) milk, sugar/sweeteners and of course mugs and tea spoons. The steward refreshes all the supplies daily, provides clean mugs etc.
Brits, being Brits, will naturally bring their own favourite tea bags with them, but we are more than happy with the PG Tips supplied by Princess.
What is a tea ball ?
According to another site, towels and other personal possessions were being removed from unused sun loungers yesterday, and these noticed were left on the sun beds.
Has anyone here seen them. Seems to be a welcome development.
Personally I would have no objection to tailored shorts, especially in the Caribbean.
Unfortunately, I think many will disregard the "tailored " aspect, and all sorts of football shorts, gym wear etc will make an appearance.
Anecdotal evidence would suggest that cruises returning from the Canaries get special attention, but C&E are looking for tobacco/cigarettes rather than alcohol.
One of the issues with Saga is that they wait so long before launching their future cruises.
No schedule yet for 2024 ! Wait for their brochure, and you risk missing out on bargains with P&O, Cunard, Princess etc.
