  1. Me too - I know prices are going up on everything but I am only willing to pay so much...I'm happy to stand back and let the blue cards take my place for the time being...
  2. I wonder if the app showing casino points is fleetwide yet? I didn't notice it on my most recent Sunshine cruise. Will be on Magic in September.
  3. Do you already have your 2024 cruise booked
  4. You are limited to 15 alcoholic drinks per person per day no matter how they are paid for. Drinks on Us, Cheers, or a la carte.
  5. I don't know about Tag but Carnival ships are not Rolex dealers. Some ships have a few used ones. Obviously some of the destinations have Rolex dealers ashore.
  6. Welcome to this most exclusive club! LOL 🤪
  7. The family harbor area is specifically designed for families traveling with children...
  8. Carnival changes out mattresses on a rotating basis, not necessarily dictated by drydocks unless of course they're going to do a Sunshine-style renovation of the ship. Any maintenance they can do outside of drydock, they do because drydock time is expensive. So it's not necessarily guaranteed your Pride stateroom will have a new mattress.
  9. It should still go back to that account as long as the account is still active. If you cancelled that account then it’s a big deal. You’ve got to get a check from the bank.
  10. Fun21 is 3:2 but has enough rules changes to kick the odds right back to the house. I play on Carnival just enough to continue to get my offers. I do not gamble on Carnival. The casinos are too tight.
  11. There are no secrets...people just like to think there are because it makes them feel like they have information nobody else has. You find this all the time on travel sites. "Disney World Hacks" etc...there are no secrets or hacks to Disney World except keep your wallet in reach at all times. It's the most traveled piece of land on the face of the earth.
  12. Carnival doesn't want to sell a family heirloom portrait for the cost of a $25 8x10 is my guess. They want at least the chance of selling you an Olan Mills-style package from the Dreams Studio.
  13. You can talk to the Dreams Studio people when you get onboard. They can set up a special sitting for you. The great thing about this is there are no sitting fees. You just pay for the photos you buy.
  14. They don't care about bottle openers, it's corkscrews with the knives for removing foil that aren't allowed.
  15. The BBQ above the Lido restaurant is a great place to eat away from the crowds of the buffet.
  16. I like Carnival's coffee. It's often very strong for me, so I have to cut it down with water.
  17. It depends on what time you want to eat there and what ship you'll be on.
  18. yeah the $25 tables on carnival are usually really slow
  19. If my pension fund owns $CCL then it explains why they can't afford to give COL adjustments to retirees...
  20. You could consider waiting to board until closer to 1:30 when the staterooms are generally available and you wouldn't need FTTF. But yes if you want to board earlier and want to be able to drop stuff off in your room, FTTF will give you that ability.
  21. If you are booking your wedding package through Carnival talk to your wedding planner as you probably won't need FTTF, generally wedding parties board before anybody - even FTTF purchasers.
