  1. Carnival's new business model is to fill the ships at all costs - and soak them for as much as you can get once they get onboard. Drinks, bingo, photos, I've noticed the selling is much stronger than before. Still possible to get off the ship with a $0 balance? Sure!
  2. I guess it depends on if Spirit goes back to Australia or if she stays in America as to if she gets the new table tops or not.
  3. At least on Sunshine (the ship I have most recent experience with) they'll typically do one evening where the comedians are in the Liquid lounge and the night club moves to the Limelight. Of all the ships, Sunshine is the one that really should have comedy in the main lounge full-time because that ship's Limelight lounge is horrible.
  4. I’ve talked to some of the comedians who say they like the smaller more intimate setting of the Punchliner. They can more easily see and hear the audience.
  5. You should see how much food is wasted in the galley that never even reaches guests! Hopefully they've gotten better but yes there is a lot of fish food being made. I wonder how many thousands of photos they printed on your cruise, simply to throw them away as well?
  6. Carnival's refunding process is so backwards. Good luck to you.
  7. Wow, that's incredible. I guess due to differences in the Australian product.
  8. They had table cloths on Sunshine in February 2020 on elegant nights, mere weeks before the shut down that changed everything.
  9. make sure your travel insurance covers pre-existing medical conditions with this now being an issue...
  10. They got rid of the tablecloths fleetwide during the COVID restart.
  11. Yes, the porters are out there in front of the terminal at least by 10AM but likely earlier.
  12. Likely, the port of registry changing from Nassau to Aliaga.
  13. If you want to book using your DVC membership then you'll need to go through DVC Member Services.
  14. Link or it didn't happen. Was the article posted yesterday maybe?
  15. Miguel maybe? I love him if so. He was the comedy host on Sunshine last year.
  16. Yes they do show movies on the stateroom TV every cruise, all cruise long, but those are typically older movies. The dive-in movies are usually more recent releases, maybe last year's blockbusters etc.
  17. I'm sure if the spa could make money on it, they'd do it. Maybe it's a sanitary thing. I really don't know.
  18. In general you are not allowed. Enforcement obviously varies. I have seen guests be made to pour out drinks before they can get off the ship, or get back on the ship, before. Sealed drinks are fine - this is what my wife and I use our large bottles of water as returning guests for.
  19. I have also noticed on the tvs around the ship, jumbotron - they will show the show times and titles - and also if the show is a repeat or not.
  20. The Caribbean air temperatures are mostly regulated by the ocean so it’s pretty much in the 80s year round.
  21. link the reservations you’d like to sit together in your cruise manager, and if needed meet with the maitre d on embarkation day in the dining room.
  22. They are no longer able to be emailed by the public. What do you need?
  23. It’s up to the comedian. Many will do the same show so people don’t feel like they need to see both shows.
