  1. Absolutely true but special needs can provide written permission that OP can bring with them on embarkation day, if there is a particular reason he or she needs that brand which only comes in bottles. Or if they need more than 12. Etc.
  2. You said in post 34 if an enemy took out a backbone, we'd be doomed. To me that means a global outage that lasts for days, weeks, months. Don't want to derail this thread any more so this will be my last reply on the topic. But my point was that it's impossible for there to be a widespead total and complete collapse of the internet.
  3. No. Bacon is too high falutin for modern Carnival.
  4. Simply impossible for the entire Internet to go down globally. Google may go down. Amazon may go down. Your local ISP may go down. Your cellular carrier may go down. But the Internet at large will self-heal essentially immediately.
  5. Excuse me but the source of my LRC bacon is none of the casino's business! 😉 Unrelated question and asking for a friend. Can you use Rum Runners with cooked bacon or is it best to do uncooked only? If uncooked, can you cook bacon on a hair straightener?
  6. Yeah I mentioned in another thread that my sense of it is they are really only planning to allow mission critical vessels through the partial channel. Cruise traffic is not as important so it will have to wait.
  7. Consider the source. Some of those here who have a resentment towards casino offers have admitted in other threads to booking casino rates. It's just a way to keep the conversation going I think.
  8. There has not been an internet outage that would cause us all to be doomed, and there never will be.
  9. The beauty of the internet is it is highly redundant. There is no such thing as an "internet backbone" that could doom humanity.
  10. Concentrated sunlight is powerful enough to melt rock.
  11. as often as you want up to 5 bags total per platinum guest. https://www.carnival.com/vifp/overview
  12. Still out of Norfolk for now. Plan to cruise out of Norfolk is my advice. When it moves back to Baltimore it will be national news because it means the Baltimore harbor is reopened, you won't miss it.
  13. The cost of materials has nothing to do with the retail price of a good. Do you think that PB&J on the room service menu costs Carnival $6? LOL
  14. Perhaps one day the VIFP program will be based on spend, but today it isn't. It is based upon nights cruised. It doesn't matter who pays for the room. You can be upset about that and wish it changed, but then you'd need to turn in your 75 Diamond Milestone card that you got thanks to casino rates...
  15. It's not free to Hilton or Howard Johnson or McDonald's either but they make it free to their guests as an amenity.
  16. I was raised under the ethos of once you know better, you should do better. Sad to see that is not universal. I think that if it was, the world would be a much better place.
  17. If the ship is docked overnight then yes. You can come and go as you please. Sometimes the ship will leave overnight and do maneuvers offshore so they can open the casino, shops, etc., so keep that in mind. I don't know if they're doing that for your particular cruise.
  18. gotta love when someone is confidently incorrect...
  19. It's been fun watching the mental gymnastics from some here to continue cheerleading in the face of unprecedented cutbacks over the past few years.
  20. You may be new here, there has been a horrific bacon shortage aboard Carnival ships for like 3 years now.
  21. They say they do but I have never tested the policy to have any first-hand knowledge.
  22. Why do you think that just because CLIA is an organization that Carnival is a voluntary member of that those regulations are any less important than those that may be imposed by a governmental entity?
  23. If you want to eat at ChiBang for supper you should book YTD. You can eat there once per cruise for supper at no charge. Bonsai is an additional charge venue. https://www.carnival.com/cruise-ships/carnival-celebration#dining
  24. You might be too late for a cruise at the end of June, that's high season and cruises are under unprecedented demand. Your best bet will probably be Mardi Gras or Celebration if you want a Carnival cruise.
