  1. I was told no, others have said theirs carried over, but not the unlimited brewed coffees. Only the 15 specialty coffees/teas carried over. So, we used ours up on each of our b2b’s. I think the GS person was new. I have not seen it written anywhere. Yes, you can buy a coffee package or soda package, etc. It’s on the website.
  2. I would too. Doesn’t sound right. I thought I read recently about a NY cruise and the times were off also. Hope no one shows up at 430! 😳
  3. We have status on Carnival and Royal too. They have always treated us very well. We don’t do short cruises though, normally. We stopped because of the amusement parks on the new ships. RCCL charging for everything under the sun and no free laundry. CCL just doesn’t have the expanded itineraries like PCL does. I think the milestone is very important and I’d convey my feeling to o PCL if I were you. You definitely should be able to do the special luncheon and the CC recognition. BTW Congrats 🍾🎉🎈

  6. Thanks for the heads up. I think with the 7 day cruises it would be more difficult to wait till OB to book them. Also, the Premier Plus, Suites and CC Mini’s have priority bookings in SD. We don’t stop by on embarking day any more. We call the dine line from the room. Because on day 1, the SD mgr has no idea how many suite guests are requesting reservations that did not book ahead. We always booked OB, but unless we have a CC mini or Suite, then think I’ll book ahead. To the OP: Did you go through the complete process to see if the charge was 0? Maybe others will post their experience.
  7. Is it booked as a b2b, 2 separate booking numbers or just 1 booking no? If it’s booked as 1 cruise, 20 night cruise, then yes…they will need to reprice. If it’s really a lot higher now, I might wait to see if the prices come down on the sailing you will actually take or wait for the next sale. Hard to predict. If you have a TA/CVP call and get their advice.

  10. Well, that’s a good question. It has been 59 days or so for elites. But, Some ships seem to be done a lot closer in. Some have been at 3 weeks before. I just keep checking and tell ones on your roll call to post it when they can do it also.
  11. What? Were you trying to get the same table every night with your party and he wouldn’t do that? First I’ve heard that. Wonder if one of the other MDR’s would have been more helpful? I thought that is the job Of the DRO/MD to organize and assist? No?
  12. I’d retry again this week. This weekend the website and App were really glitchy. Weekends are a little strange. Sign out and back in the App. You’ve got plenty of time, ask APP team to look at it. Anyone else on your roll call having this issue?
  13. NO ONE can tell you for sure. If you read the rules, then you know the answer. You have been given people’s experiences…..maybe. You need to make the decision and not rely on others guesses or experiences. Be prepared to pay corkage fees and if you don’t have to and get through security…then great. JMO
  14. You’ve already paid for it. But, I wonder, if that category is available, why couldn’t you call and ask to switch the cabin? I would call my TA/CVP. Do you see another cabin open? You can’t get a refund of course, but why not try to change your cabin…same category. Let us know.
  15. The rooms are usually ready for us when we board about 1130. So, sometimes we drop off our bags first and then go to lunch. You will hear an announcement that rooms will be ready 100-130pm, because not all rooms are ready. Some of the doors down the halls are closed until they finish cleaning all of them. So, go enjoy lunch and then unpack! 😀
  16. There isn’t a specific dining reservation desk, but the DR does have desks on both sides of the door to the MDR’s. If you can’t catch the DRO/Maitre’d on lunch day, ask for what you want at the first dinner. All the last cruises we’ve been on, he was not at the lunch MDR, but was at the Dinner. Extremely busy, so we told our waiter and head waiter. They conveyed for us. We were able to get TD on ALL our restart cruises. 8 cruises. I would not worry about 1 night. If you get the same time, same table every night, you’ll already be in the computer for it.
  17. Is she on the website version of the App? Or, did she download the MedallionClass App on her phone or laptop? If so, tell her to delete the App and reinstall. That’s really odd.
  18. Luck of the draw! However, once I checked with shore excursions OB and told them I’d love the first one! Got it! Probably just coincidence. 😂
  19. You don’t download the OceanCompass. It is part of the MedallionClass App. If she signs into the App… move down about 5 categories and you’ll see OceanCompass. It is available to use on the ship.
