Is Free At Sea Deal worth it?
ColeThornton replied to RandomUser123's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Click on the offer on NCL.com home page. On the next page scroll all the way down to "Terms and Conditions". Click that link. The majority of your questions will be answered there. -

Change in "dining culture" on cruise ships!
ColeThornton replied to Hlitner's topic in Ask a Cruise Question
You should consider a hearing aid. My friend just got one and it's changed his life. 🙂 -
Silverware on carnival legend -August
ColeThornton replied to sgatling7's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
You should ask this on the Carnival forum. Here is the link for you: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/133-carnival-cruise-lines/ -
Sorry, but unfortunately recommendations of that sort are prohibited by Cruise Critic guidelines.

I don't see why a blender wouldn't be allowed. Heck, I always bring my waffle maker and my George Foreman grill. ')

Testing positive for Covid after returning from a cruise
ColeThornton replied to sjde's topic in Ask a Cruise Question
Seems like you already answered your question since you've already heard of people testing positive when they got home. Not trying to be difficult, just not sure of what answer you are looking for. -
Cruising from SF to Hawaii - how are the seas?
ColeThornton replied to mfinster007's topic in Ask a Cruise Question
Standard answer to this oft-asked question: Seas can be smooth, seas can be rough. What's happened at a particular time in the past is no real indicator of what future seas will be like. Bottom line: If you think you or someone in your party will have motion sickness issues then plan in advance and bring medications to take care of the issue. -

Earliest time to get off Carnival horizon in POM
ColeThornton replied to sds's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Zero chance I would take a flight that early. The very last thing I want after a wonderful, relaxing vacation is to go straight in to stress mode trying to catch an early flight. -
Parental Consent letter - is it required?
ColeThornton replied to madcat207's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
It's not really "buried in the FAQ's" though. Took me all of ten seconds to find it. 😉 Enjoy your cruise. -
Parental Consent letter - is it required?
ColeThornton replied to madcat207's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Carnival doesn't require it but "strongly recommends" it. Straight from the Carnival FAQ's: Traveling with Minors When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents or legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original signed letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardians authorizing the minor to travel with you. If there is no second parent with legal claims to the minor (due to sole custody, deceased, etc.) other relevant paperwork, such as a court decision, death certificate, birth certificate naming only one parent, would be useful to bring in place of a signed letter. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security. -
