  1. No. NCL held up their part of the deal. Your friend left of their own accord. NCL owes them nothing.
  2. This is an excerpt from the CCL FAQ on required documentation: Traveling with Minors When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents or legal guardians are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original, signed letter from the absent parent(s) or legal guardians authorizing the minor to travel with you. If there is no second parent with legal claims to the minor (due to sole custody, deceased, etc.) other relevant paperwork, such as a court decision, death certificate, birth certificate naming only one parent, would be useful to bring in place of a signed letter. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security.
  3. Seems like that could either work out very well or be very disappointing if the other folks are trying to escape for alone time. 😉
  4. That's a prime example of how traumatic cruising can be sometimes. Hang in there.
  5. Sales people getting commissions? Crazy world I tell ya.
  6. Welcome to CC. Here's a good forum for family cruising tips: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/28-family-cruises/

  10. It was already discussed within this thread.
  11. Servers don't always work the same venue/shifts every day, it can change up.
  12. Recommendation: Read through the threads in this forum. Lots of great info already available. Familiarize yourself with the FAQ section on NCL.com. Go to the review section and peruse reviews for whichever ship you are interested in. Feel free to start new threads with SPECIFIC questions you may have. Cheers.
  13. I would bring a 6 foot cord, I don't think the 6 inch cord will be long enough. 😉
  14. https://www.carnival.com/help Check out the FAQ's for the beverage and liquor policy. Energy drinks are okay to bring on board.
  15. I would post on the Celebrity forum here on Cruise Critic and ask for advice on where the quiet spots are for whatever ship you booked. Enjoy your cruise.
