  1. No worries, I was just worried there was some confusion. I definitely back you up on the steak being available in Giovanni's for lunch on Oasis. I don't think I'll get to Jamies on Harmony. We are traveling with our extended family and there are a host of food allergies with three of them that make Italian almost impossible. We've got the Hibachi booked for all of us and Sabor for DW, myself and the GK's. DD and SIL are getting the night off to dine at Chops. It is their anniversary.
  2. I drank Strongbow in the Suite lounge and it was definitely included. I never could acquire a taste for the hard seltzers.
  3. No true. From 11 to 11 beer, wine cider and hard seltzer are included.
  4. Like I said, you are special, congratulations.
  5. Well then congratulations! You are the only person in the history of the Royal Caribbean's Refreshnment package and Deluxe Beverage package to have ever been able to use those packages for Frappuccinos etc. at a Starbucks on a Royal Caribbean ship. You are truly blessed beyond measure.
  6. That wasn't me that said the Jane!! I had Giovanni's lunch on Embarkation day and definitely had the steak as well. Loved it. I think it might be better than Chops steak.
  7. For me this is one of the biggest selling features of Odyssey and all Quantum class ships. Music Hall blows away the equivalent venue on Oasis... The downside is no Ice show.
  8. We always get it for embarkation day. Totally worth it. More food than you can possibly eat..
  9. I just picked it up for my 8 day Adventure Feb 2024 at $20.99. At that price it is worth it to me. I'm going to buy a two device internet package anyways and I always book an embarkation lunch in a specialty restaurant because the Windjammer is always chaos on boarding day. The difference for everything else comes to a grand total of $63.85. Not carrying my CPAP around on boarding day is worth a few bucks and the premium seating in Studio B is worth a little to me as well. I love the figure skating show and go at least twice. The other benefits make up the difference I'd say. The other cruises I have booked are all much higher so I see no value at that point. What is odd to me is that we are only 10 months out and still no sign of specialty dining.
  10. If you got your coffee from the Starbucks kiosk and it was included in the either the DBP or RP that would be very strange. It has been reported extensively across all ships for years now on CC that this is not possible. Most likely you got specialty coffee at Cafe Promenade which serves Starbucks products and even has a Starbuck logo on the posted menu.
  11. There are no suite vouchers. In the suite lounge during HH there is no charge. if you are on an Oasis class, beer and wine, is free between 11 and 11. There are no vouchers used in either case.
  12. That's bizarre... when they punch your room number into the POS terminal your picture comes up... That should have been caught immediately.
  13. I'll be looking forward to you posting updates on Owens progress. Even though I'm a few years removed from being active, I'm still passionate about the sport and love to hear about new players embracing it.
  14. Last Sept we got a inside promenade view for 149 no Navigator. I think regular insides were 99 pppd.
  15. They told me 48-72 hours too but that didn't work. I tried again on day 6 after my initial withdrawal was day 2. I thought about going to the Casino Host again and seeing about getting it sorted but I didn't care enough. I was just doing it for the CC points. I still had money left from my initial withdrawal.
  16. I actually didn't need the money but I get 2x points on my Royal Caribbean BOA visa for all things purchased as Royal. Cash at the Casino as a room charge gets me that. I redeposit all remaining funds immediately upon getting off the ship. It's just a way to get a little extra cash.
  17. Great stuff, I hope he continues to enjoy the experience. A lack of a professional league has kept Rugby as a fringe sport but that is starting to change. North America has a long way to go in developing a profession game but Major League Rugby seems to have found it's footing and a professional league this side of both oceans will only improve the quality of play locally. With the Rugby World Cup being held in the USA 2031 I expect that that will continue to grow exponentially.
  18. Wow, great day at the pitch. That was smart support play on his try. It was hard for me to tell right at the end how it went down but it looked like he made a smart cut inside either prior to or just after being passed to. Good vision. I'm curious about his kicking experience. Since he is new, did he have background of kicking in football? A drop kick isn't a typical football skill even if you were a kicker.
  19. I am sure there are exceptions... Just as overall I would think USD would be the easiest.
  20. I would think what is written on the invoice would trump what it says on the website. No where in the new contract is there any language about passports.
