  1. These were there but no one was in them and there was no way to purchase them that I saw. They were still working (staining) on the pier/walk way out to them. Perhaps I was there just before hand. All I remember is the they served drinks and I was underwhelmed by the food. It's sounds like @Sea Dog's experience was very different than mine. I'm not complaining about the experience just that it was Ok not great.
  2. Most bartenders don't need your set sail pass. They just ask for your room number.
  3. No that isn't going to work out. They use room numbers when you book. They won't allow anyone not in a suite to access it.
  4. I've stayed in a promenade Interior one time on Navigator. It wasn't noisy at all with the exception of the 70's dance party one night. I remember actually being surprised at how not noisy it was. We were on Deck 8. Cocktails will range between $11- $14 depending on the drink. If you decide to buy the drink package remember that both you and he need a package. If you don't drink you can order the refreshment package while he gets the DBP. You can't order it through the cruise planner, it won't let one buy the DBP without the other. You must call in to make that purchase.
  5. Thanks, I went back and looked and, indeed, lunch is included. That gives me more money for drinks 🤡 I think I"ll stick with that. Thanks for the help.
  6. Which did you like better. We did Turquoise Bay back in 2018 but it wasn't the VIP experience. I don't remember them having a VIP experience. I thought it was just OK. I know Maya Key doesn't include any beverages or food but the price difference is $100. For $100 I think I could buy a lot food and drink.
  7. Why did I think you went to Maya Key when you were in Roatan? I thought you even posted pics. I'm getting old in my old age.
  8. While disappointing, that seems like fair compensation.
  9. You don't have to go back to the 80's and 90's... My first cruise was in 2007 on Serenade to Alaska and I paid $1600 for an interior cabin on deck 3. Today you can get an interior guarantee on Brilliance with the same itinerary and the same time of year for $2000. That's not much of a price increase over 16 years.
  10. No problem, 1 user, 3 devices can easily be shared between three people. You will have a single log in and you can connect any 3 devices. It doesn't matter who the users are. If you want separate logins then you have need to order it the other way.
  11. Benny's info is right. I always fill out the form and usually receive a reply in two to three weeks. Unless your cruise is imminent I wouldn't worry to much about it. They'll respond in due time. I sent in two requests for two different cruises using the special needs forms 4/21/23 and received a reply this morning.
  12. That is one of the best Brazilian steakhouses I have been to anywhere in the USA. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Happy Anniversary.
  13. Absolutely, with a large group it is really hard to get value out of it.
  14. IF you are on multiple reservations, you must have your TA or Royal link your reservations so that you can access all of them through the cruise planner
  15. I just purchased it for my Feb. 2024 on Adventure. I was actually one of those that said they'd never purchase it again but the price got low enough that I saw value in it. I got it for $20.99 pppd. I'd get the internet anyways so the difference is pretty low at that point. With the embarkation lunch, which I would have bought too, the other benefits are almost free at that point. This means I don't have to carry my CPAP around for a couple of hours and I know I'll get decent seating for the Ice Show which is the highlight entertainment for me. I'll go to it at least twice over the cruise. The few other benefits are ok but not critical to my decision making.
  16. If I missed it I apologize... Which ship are you on?
  17. I could probably give a better guess but my Adventure of the Seas (should be similar to Liberty) cruise in Feb 2024 still hasn't posted dining prices. I have Liberty booked in Sept. and it is 266 but that is a 9 day cruise. That's why I suggested ~200. I could be low though.
  18. Expect to pay around $200 give or take a little. On Oasis class ships it is bouncing between 225 on sale and 260 reg price. Freedom class will be a little cheaper usually.
  19. On both Ovation and Odyssey it was my go to spot most evenings. On Oasis I spent a lot less time there.
  20. Less than 230 if you are under 6ft under 250 for 6ft +
  21. In all my cruises I have never needed a "solid" excuse. I just call in and tell them I want to buy one DBP for me and one RP for my wife. Only once was ever even asked a follow up question. To which the answer was... "She doesn't drink". No further questions. Every other time they just go ahead and charge my card and it's done.
  22. I'll give that one a try. The ones I tried ( I don't remember which) tasted like medicine.
