We’re actually headed to Piazza Roma near the train station so we can see how walkable the train station will be from there with luggage as we’re heading to the train station station as soon as we depart the ship. We’ve been to Venice several times so really didn’t plan to sightsee this time.
We’ll be in Chioggia in a few weeks and booked the “Venice on your own” tour. After reading about getting from Chioggia to Venice, I think we’re going to cancel the shore excursion and take the bus.
We’re booked on a 7 night cruise in October using our 4 free nights. I repriced every time there was a promotion and it was always lower with the free nights. We booked on board last year so got the OBC for onboard booking and we booked the previous cruise so got the OBC for the B2B also.
I spoke to the Hotel Director on Quest last year about booking a space for a small group of people that were attending private shore excursions that I had set up, and he put me in touch with the Concierge.
Ours has always been correct too, and we have 3 cruises booked. Our balance due is also correct for all 3 cruises. We also received emails from Azamara confirming our OBC for all cruises and that was also correct.
Someone reported on another thread that they were able to call Azamara and book the shore excursions over the phone using their OBC. This was a few days ago and she said she was able to get through very quickly.
Same here as far as payment being processed today through TA without any issues-haven’t tried to book excursions yet (need to go through options with my husband and it’s a real pain not having a PDF he can just look at). I was also able to update our new passport information online.
We stayed at Banks Hotel before our cruise last August. It was a block from a tram stop from the train station and easy to get trams for sightseeing from there. We also took a tram from there back to the train station and transferred to another to the port.
