  1. My husband and I always use our VPN without any problems.
  2. Was Ayres Rock an option offered by Azamara or are you taking an independent tour? We’re on Pursuit in December, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to get to Ayres Rock prior to boarding in Perth.
  3. Jakub Trasak’s great! He’s been on a couple of our cruises.
  4. Nice that they finally have a Sauternes on the ultimate list.
  5. We use it to purchase bottles of wine, specialty dining, laundry packages, wi-fi.
  6. I think someone just shared that one of the ships is including Erath Pinot Noir (not sure if it was in the included or ultimate package). They also own Rex Hill and A to Z. We travel to Oregon at least once a year and Oregon Pinots make up most of our cellar. However, the Sycamore brands are inexpensive supermarket wines at this point.
  7. We were on that cruise too, and they were fantastic! A private guide that we had for a small group tour was amazed that they performed on our ship! We saw them last summer at an outdoor venue in Cleveland.
  8. We went in July 2023 and visited Meteora and Makrynitsa with a private tour operator that had been recommended by others on this board-Taxi in Volos.
  9. Another storage hint I found on these pages is to bring some magnetic hooks. There are spots on the wall you can attach them to that you can hang light jackets, etc. It adds a little more storage.
  10. On our first Azamara cruise in 2012, we traveled with our adult children. We booked an interior cabin for them, and an oceanview for us. It seemed like their interior was so dark-I decided I would never book an interior again for any of us. The oceanview was better, and we’ve booked once since. We really prefer the verandah 2 cabins though. We occasionally order breakfast to enjoy on the balcony, and we’ll have a glass of wine out there after dinner (grab one from the bar on your way back to your cabin or bring your own onboard). Sounds like you’re considering the same cruise we’re booked on. Azamara’s ships are the largest we will cruise on.
  11. They did it for our cruises in September and October 2023.
  12. They did when we were on Pursuit in September.
  13. They did when we were on Azamara in September.
  14. Where/when? Are the itineraries the same?
  15. We booked an Azamara transfer that took us to Tronchetto. There were no taxis available there, so we took the People Mover to Piazzale Roma and took a taxi from there. The taxi driver tried to talk us into walking across the bridge from there to Santa Lucia station but I never would have been able to climb the stairs with my luggage.
  16. The boarding pass and guest “booklet” are electronic, so if your TA is working this week they should be able to get it to you by Sunday. It’s not a big deal if you don’t have it though!
  17. We’ve stayed there twice-very convenient. Also, if you book directly on their website they give you a discount on drinks at their bar.
  18. We stayed in Lunenberg in August and really enjoyed it. One of the itineraries has that as a stop.
  19. I posted about this on the roll call yesterday-I’m disappointed in the change also. Was interested in visiting L’Anse aux Meadows after reading about it, and am not interested in 3 sea days in a row.
  20. We were on the Pursuit in September and October-both had Meet & Mingles on boarding day that were listed in the Insider.
  21. Thanks-I was trying to follow up on some FCC they had said I was going to receive.
  22. Interesting because on our 3 Azamara cruises this year, we met a lot of first time Azamara cruisers in their 30’s and 40’s.
  23. Thanks! Trying to track mine down!
  24. I was quarantined for 5 days on our B2B cruises on the Pursuit this fall. My husband was moved to a separate cabin for the 3 days I was quarantined on the first cruise, but had to move back to our cabin on Saturday morning because the second cruise was full and was required to quarantine with me at that point. I received letters from the HD indicating that I would be receiving 3 days FCC for each cruise, but my husband didn't receive anything. I was unable to reach the HD, but the Concierge told me that they had all the records and would make sure he received the FCC. As of now (more than the 30 days since it said we would receive it), Azamara's Customer Service Department hasn't received any information about it. The letters I received said to contact Customer Service if we hadn't received it within 30 days, but the phone number given was Royal Caribbean's. Does anyone who has received the FCC since the cutover know if RCCL is still processing them? Has anyone received a refund instead of FCC? I noticed when I looked at my credit card account earlier today that there is a pending refund from Azamara, but it's nowhere near the amount I paid for 5 days. I won't call about that until the refund is actually posted. Diana
