  1. Here is a YouTube video of Family OV 5768 by Minurva Bhattarai. It is close to the medical center
  2. Glad you enjoyed your cruise on the Spirit. We're booked on the 16 day Honolulu to Vancouver BC in April and very much looking forward to it. It's been a long time since our cruise on the Spirit in 2009. We enjoyed her then and I know we'll love the beautifully renovated Spirit.
  3. You are very welcome Cruise Deck Plans is a great resource ... the inexpensive member site has photos of many staterooms. Some members also post YouTube videos on CDP and then you can go to YT and pull them up. Very helpful if the stateroom number is not in the title. You can also pull up a sister ship to see if stateroom you are searching for is shown there.
  4. Here is YouTube video by Mary Ann Rohrbaugh of 11910 (starboard side version of 11310). 11906 will look like this stateroom except balcony wlll be shorter.
  5. Here is a YouTube Video by Yachting Hub Miami --- drone shots of the Prima Approximately 2:09 into the video there is a good shot of the slides by stateroom 13208 that is by the slide. Stateroom 13196 is 6 forward of 13208 (kind of in line with the I in Prima) 5 decks up from the waterfront deck. I don't think slide will be any problem for you. Just for fun here is a YouTube video by EJ Travels of stateroom 13208. Balcony tour is in the first 3 minutes.
  6. Here is link to discussion about Free At Sea Plus offering disappearing (and for some reappearing)
  7. There are some Jade haven videos on YouTube
  8. I would like those pins 🙂 At least being from Oregon you can drive to Seattle and park across the street from the ship. We do that rather than flying even though flights are not expensive. We've done this cruise more than once and we love the Bliss. If we did it again we wouldn't bother getting off in Victoria ..... just not enough time. I do like the itineraries that include Sitka better but this isn't one of them. Only thing I don't love about the Bliss is no middle staircase. Big ship and a lot of walking. We'll be in Alaska the first week of May on the Spirit Hawaii to Seattle cruise April 22, 2024. Same Alaska port stops except no Victoria and port times are much better. Tiny ship with great spaces for scenic viewing. We were on her years ago and looking forward to seeing the renovations in person. Karen
  9. Larry and I each received same coupon in our Latitudes Account. Last year the coupon we received was for same time frame we were already booked on a different NCL cruise.
  10. Still listed on NCL promo page but no longer offered on our April cruise on the Spirit.
  11. In April we were on the Norwegian Star from Trieste to Lisbon. Our second day was tender to Venice. Luckily since we were spending two nights in Venice prior to taking the train to Trieste morning of the cruise we decided to do a ship excursion in Venice (Murano and Burano). I believe they did have an excursion to St Mark's. The ship anchored approximately an hour from Venice and we tendered to the Venice cruise port on large double decker "tender" boat. For the trip in to Venice we sat on top and had great view going down the grand canal. Once we got in to the terminal we met our excursion group and took a small boat to Murano, then Burano, then back to the cruise terminal where we took another double decker "tender" for another hour long ride back to the ship. I heard that people who didn't have excursions through NCL were pretty much on their own once they arrived at the cruise terminal. If we did this itinerary through NCL I would book an excursion through them for the Venice day. We dearly loved Venice, stayed in the Cannaregio district very close to Santa Lucia train station. Train ride to Trieste was excellent and very inexpensive. We had a little trouble with the ticket machine but they have very nice employees to help out "elderly" tourists.
  12. My $500 CruiseFirst purchased yesterday for $250 no longer shows date ..... instead in far right column it says View Terms with link that takes you to today's CruiseFIrst promo which is pay $150 for $300 CruiseFirst. My amount is correct at $500 and I did screen prints yesterday so not worried about it but it would be nice if NCL would get their act together.
  13. For the Spirit April 22, 2024 cruise they are showing two airport transfer excursions ....
  14. Larry and I are beyond excited looking forward to our 16 day cruise on the Spirit from Honolulu to Vancouver BC. We were on her many years ago and the transformation since her refurbishment is amazing. Dates are April 22, 2024 to May 8, 2024. If you have 60,000 NCL Worldpoints you can book a guarantee IF inside with all perks for $3,628 and upgrade to a BF guarantee balcony. I wanted to pick my own stateroom so booked a IA inside and upgraded to a BB balcony in perfect location for me. Non connecting, sandwiched between two stateroom decks and close to front stairs. Cost about a thousand more but there are many many staterooms available so I'm watching the IA pricing in hopes it will come down. We love watching YouTube vloggers and some of our favorites were on this same itinerary last year on the Spirit. Ben & David, Stef of Sean and Stef and ParoDeeJay all posted several videos on YouTube and we've watched them numerous times. This is a fairly short Spirit video by Chris Frame We cancelled the April 2024 Prima transatlantic followed by travel to Venice and a 7 night bucket list cruise on MSC Armonia in favor of the Spirit cruise. Ease and low cost of transportation to and from the Spirit cruise from west coast USA was a huge consideration along with my misgivings about Prima on a cold weather cruise. We also love the Jewel class ships and the Sun. Although the Dawn and the Star sacrificed their observation lounges in favor of suites and inside staterooms we've had some great cruises on them. The Dawn Boston to New Orleans was a total blast helped by landing a 2 bedroom suite via the Upsell Fairy. We had the most amazing CC roll call thread and I sure miss those days. April 2023 we did a 15 day cruise from Trieste to Lisbon on the Star and for such a port intensive cruise the Star was just fine. Have my eye on the Sun 10 day cruise Sept 12, 2025 going from Civitavecchia to Trieste. It is also a bucket list itinerary. I only wish we had done Europe cruises earlier instead of so many Caribbean.

  21. If a deck 12 B1 balcony is available you might ask to switch staterooms. NCL usually does at no charge in same category unless you booked a guarantee balcony. At 17:41 minutes into this YouTube video by Wicked SIPPERS FLIPPERS & TRIPPERS they do a room tour of aft facing B1 balcony stateroom 13308. Video was posted in 2019 so not sure if there have been updates but layout would be same Here is a YouTube video by RobertG529 posted 7 years ago of Escape 12910. You can see how much deeper the balcony is on deck 12 versus deck 13
  22. I took a look at our Prima transatlantic April 2024 and Vibe is available to book now for $319 pp. Don't know how much use it would get on a T/A.
  23. Wouldn't let me edit so continuing my train of thought here We've done a lot of cruises and enjoyed every one of them. Our Hawaii cruise on Pride of America was very memorable because we were with our best friends in corner aft facing suite with giant wrap around balcony. So thankful we had wonderful sail past Napili Coast and weather and view was gorgeous. Loved all our Alaska cruises, love the Caribbean sea, loved our Venice (Trieste) to Lisbon this past April and was so happy we did the hour long tender in to Venice and back to the ship and had the NCL Murano/Burano excursion between tender rides. A long but wonderful day,
  24. Greek Islands has long been a bucket list destination for us and at 75 and 77 decided we shouldn't wait much longer. We're taking the Prima TA next April, flying to Venice, spending one night there and then boarding the MSC Armonia for this cruise
