  1. What? You do not dine often at the Captain's Table?
  2. May have a problem with the crew being up to speed with everything. Some might be starting their first Princess job.
  3. At the time, the Diamond Princess had the most confirmed cases in the world after China.
  4. People do this for complaints that do not get proper attention and resolution when following the normal problem resolution path. It may not be the actual E-mail address, but it will go to a person in the exec's office who has the job of responding to problems sent that way.
  5. It says only the infected are in lockdown: Covid-infected holidaymakers on cruise ship have been put into lockdown
  6. And did not have a disease that killed over 1,000,000 Americans in a year plus many other people around the world.
  7. That's for sure. My cable service tells me I have viewed a program if I ask for it on demand and had seen it before, even many months before. My grocery store will warn me about a product recall for an item I purchased in the past there. And within seconds my credit card company knows where in the world I am using a card. And if I apply and get a new credit card, within 24 hours (starting a few seconds after a card is approved) I will get about 15 notices from various financial institutions about the new card.
  8. Are there any Canadian import issues or tariffs that would make it difficult to assure they would arrive at Canadian addresses on time?
  9. Anytime diner waiting for a table to be available?
  10. Yes if it has the two standard prongs. It has been a long time since I have been on a cruise ship that required the light to be on for the outlet to work.
  11. You can do the same in the dining room without being in Club Class.
  12. Princess has always had the boilerplate that boarding starts at 1 PM and the reality has always been that, unless there is an unusual circumstance, boarding always started no later than 12:15 PM, but often 45 or more minutes earlier than that.
  13. Yes, you can do that once on board, but no reservations might be still available for the time you would like to dine.
  14. I do not need a cell phone app to make a doctor appointment. Using a land line, I can call the doctor's office. As an alternative, I could make the appoint with a desktop computer. I do not need a cell phone app to get medication refills. I can use a land line to call the pharmacy to do this. I do not need a cell phone app to renew my driver's license. I can do this on my desktop computer. I guess if I was in your work situation, I would need a cell phone to log onto a work computer. Since I do not own a cell phone, I would expect my employer to provide an alternate method (or provide a cell phone for me).
  15. Can the online version also be used to select an arrival time? Or is that only possible with the App?
  16. I thought it was 40 for a full day per person and $20 for a half day (afternoon or morning) per person. Each afternoon should have been $20 each per day.
  17. Yes, it seems as if Princess is not moving shows around as frequently as they used to. Also, I get the impression that on most Princess ships the cast now only is equipped to do two different shows where in the past they could perform three or four (and of course had scenery, props and costumes for all of them).
  18. October 22, 2022 7:31 PM EDT EXCITING AND NEW INTRODUCTIONS BETWEEN THE ORIGINAL CAST OF "THE LOVE BOAT" AND "THE REAL LOVE BOAT" HOSTS AND CREW SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Oct. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Love Boat….promises something for everyone…proved true today as the cast members from the original scripted show "The Love Boat" met with the hosts of CBS's romantic adventure dating show "The Real Love Boat," Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell, and The Real Love Boat Crew. "Rebecca and I grew up watching the original 'Love Boat' and our show is inspired by that beloved series so to meet the original cast was just a wonderful experience," said Jerry O'Connell, host of "The Real Love Boat." Princess Cruises Celebrations Ambassador Jill Whelan (Vicki Stubing), is joined by fellow "Love Boat" cast members Cynthia Lauren Tewes (Julie McCoy), Bernie Kopell (Doc), Fred Grandy (Gopher) and Ted Lange (Isaac) were onboard as they departed for a specially-themed "Love Boat" cruise leaving from the Port of Los Angeles on a seven-day roundtrip Mexican Riviera cruise onboard Discovery Princess. The original ensemble cast will celebrate their friend and everyone's favorite cruise ship Captain Stubing with a tribute to Actor Gavin MacLeod. Together they will also share their favorite memories from the show and participate in various guest activities, including a renewal of vows for guests. "The Real Love Boat," hosted by Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell, is set on a luxury Princess Cruises ship and they are joined by the ship's crew members – Captain Paolo Arrigo, Ezra Freeman (Bartender) and Matt Mitcham (Cruise Director) – bringing singles together to cruise the Mediterranean while looking for love. With over 40 combined years working in the industry, Arrigo, Freeman and Mitcham bring their real-world expertise to help the Singles find love in this adventure of a lifetime. Destination dates, challenges and surprise new singles are testing the couples' compatibility and chemistry. Like the beloved original scripted series set aboard a Princess cruise ship, the indispensable crew members play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead. "The Real Love Boat" airs on the CBS Television Network 9/8c and is available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
  19. It's not the cast. It is the scenery and props. If the Grand does not have the scenery and props for that show, no cast can perform it.
  20. Each segment you sail will count, so for your B2B2B in the Med, it was counted as three cruises since there were 3 segments, even if under one booking number. Your TA cruise is a single segment, so will count as one cruise.
  21. I think these written instruction were whom to contact if you suspected you had Covid. I do not think these were what the OP was expecting after having Covid: o Options for getting meals to the cabin o Instructions for disembarkation day if still have Covid o Information of reimbursement for missed cruise days while in isolation and for quarantine expenses (hotel and food) if necessary after the cruise ended. o Options for rescheduling flights home o etc.
  22. Wholesale price, at least before the pandemic, was less than $1 a bottle (tax free for Princess for use in international waters). It is a service to humanity that it not be consumed by people.
