  1. That would cover all Apple phones released since 2015. I know I've been using Apple Pay for a long time but didn't realize 7 years has flown by.
  2. You may be able to determine once they update the Daily Planner for your cruise. Current Cruise shows Day 2 and Day 10 While not scientific - Usually the 1st Sea Night and the Last Sea Day (not the last night as luggage has to be put out) With that I would expect 1st - January 24 2rd - February 1
  3. NFC (near field communication) is the technology that allows two devices — like your phone and a payments terminal — to talk to each other when they're close together. NFC is the technology that enables contactless payments.
  4. Thanks for the correction. It use to be all you could stuff in a bag and I have still seen that offered.
  5. I may hold off then . Hadn't thought about that. We are doing both a cruise in November 2023 as well as an April 2025.
  6. Only the RS and above suites as well as Zenith level comes with free laundry. Due to abuse they have a published limit of 2X but not seen it enforced As Elite and Above you get 1 bag per person of was and fold - I believe the limit is 20 items.
  7. Infinity has a wide array of shops. I've only recently heard that some of the ships has had any Apple inventory. Hopefully this will change. Another option for OBC is to book excursions. You can usually do this in advance and get discounts. We have done some remarkable tours that we might not have done if not for the OBC.
  8. Thanks - I will keep in mind. We have quite a bit of time to apply for ours for November so just starting the process. Quick question. Can you apply for both on the same app or better to load app on separate phones.
  9. You brought up a really good point. There are a lot of "Scam" sites out there that pop up on searches for most Visa Processing. Easiest way to avoid is when you do a search - Avoid all sites that have - AD next to their name on the results page. From the government site: https://usa.embassy.gov.au/visas At this time, ETA lodgement is only available through the Australian ETA app. To apply you must lodge the application via the ETA app which you can download for free from the Apple Store (Apple) or Google Play store (Android). https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/electronic-travel-authority-601#HowTo
  10. I recently cancelled a NR deposit and took me 6 weeks to get the FCC. When I went to apply it found that it was only for $400 as oppose to $800 (1,000 deposit less $100 pp). I called and took awhile for the agent to sort it out. Since I had not designated a second passenger they could not process the other half to the second deposit. I was surprised they added an additional $500 onto my current FCC. He said that since I didn't have a second passenger they wouldn't charge me the $100 for that "non-passenger" The FCC was updated while I was on the phone and I was able to apply it the next day for a cruise where final payment was coming up.
  11. LOL - I remember those. Good thing was the eventually refunded our $35.00 Yikes 1994 was a long time ago.
  12. It's like giving legal advise with being a lawyer - everyone does it and you get what you pay for. Thus the reason for licensing. I didn't mean to criticize and should have said - I don't give insurance recommendations as i'm not a licensed broker. I'm sensitive to it as the President of an HOA who often get questions about what type of insurance a homeowner should obtain. Our broker has cautioned us that the board could be sued if give out incorrect information and recommended we always send them to him to answer their questions. I would hate anyone to rely on my advice and then find out they don't have the coverage they think they purchased. There is so much fine print I often am not even sure what I purchased.
  13. I agree the description initially made my eyebrows go up but really enjoyed it. You really don't tasted the white chocolate
  14. LOL... If we had a good rattler the last thing I think I would be worried about is my PJ's. Saying that a couple weeks ago I was rudely awaken by a loud shrill followed by - EARTHQUAKE - EARTHQUAKE - EARTHQUAKE WARNING - TAKE IMMEDIATE COVER DUCK AND COVER. It was the new Earthquake Early Detection program and was reporting the December 20th 6.4 in Eureka Area (about 250 miles away). Didn't feel a thing - but took me over an hour to calm enough to go back to sleep.
  15. I've not sailed in a SS but sailed in RS and PH on Equinox and all were updated and had the new beds as well as color scheme.
  16. Each policy is different and is often based on cost. Would recommend speaking with a licensed Insurance Broker and have him advise which policy best meets your need. Unless someone is a licensed broker it is illegal for them to give you insurance advise.
  17. Check back on a regular basis. Even though they say check back in 21 days - I've seen it open between 14 and 45 days prior to sailing. No Rhyme or Reason. As other said if booked with a Big Box Store and some agents you may not be eligible. I've also sent an e-mail to the email address on the form and they responded back with an invite and/or date it will be open.
  18. Just make your dietary requirements be known to the Maitre 'd they will usually sit down with you and plan meals for the next night, just like any other dietary requirements. I've never known anyone regardless of dietary needs go hungry. The difference may just be where you are served.
  19. We have done a HNL departure with a second day departure as well as from Singapore. You can actually board on either day. If you board on the first day you treat it like any other cruise and all of the facilities and restaurants are open normal hours. You can also treat it like a hotel and check in and then go back ashore and sight see or shop as you please. The ship will allow access 24 hours but check in is usually restricted to certain hours on both days.
  20. Would be good to check the schedule instead of raising alarm - Solstice was not scheduled for Mazatlan this cruise. She is on a 5 day to Cabo and Ensenada. Next cruises Jan 7 / Jan 14 Cruise - is a 7 Day to Santa Catalina Island and Cabo - Again not even near Mazatlan. My information to friends who live in Mazatlan is things are already back to normal.
  21. I'm sure that it was a disappointment to have so much fog but your photos are amazing and capture mother nature in actions. We were lucky in that when we went through the Fjord's it was clear skies and no fog. You just never know how the weather will cooperate. Would really love to cruise with you. I love your attitude.
  22. Yes they are wrong. I've done over 20 B2B's and never had to take things off ship.
  23. I recently did it in December . It was a very easy and relaxed process. The B2B's met in the Ensemble Lounge at 9:00. Once the ship had been zeroed out they escorted us ashore to go through Computerized Immigration - Walk up to line and when get a green check mark you move forward and wait until all B2B's are cleared. We were given our new SeaPass while waiting in Michael's club not sure when others got their cards. We then walked out of the immigration area and right back into the doorway next door and back on the ship. You then have full access of the ship until general boarding begins
