  1. I just checked mine for 3 cruises coming up in August. I used the link confirming my bid and brings me to a page showing all bids - When I click modify it shows both the current bid and pending for all of them. but had to do it individually. If I recall it has been that way for the past couple weeks.
  2. QR code is not required. Some services add one others don't
  3. I messaged my Doctor yesterday (Kaiser, California) and he replied Unfortunately were not allowed to give Paxlovid to people who are not known to be infected, and are also symptomatic. It is still under a expanded use authorization meaning that you cannot give it off label in any circumstance. Just reference point I had also asked at the Pharmacy and they said that at most test sites they will immediately give Seniors and at risk patients Paxlovid if test positive but she was not permitted to sell it without a prescription. May be California restrictions combined with feds.
  4. Wondering if anyone has had any experience using a Certificate of Recovery on a B2B and whether they accept in in lieu of a B2B test. Just curious as someone on our August 7 Iceland/Greenland cruise just tested positive and are also B2B's. Just was reading that Celebrity recently changed their requirements and now allow either a PCR or Antigen along with a COR between 11 - 90 days of cruise date.
  5. No you did not have to settle our account nor did we take most of our luggage with us. We just took enough for a 2 night visit. They returned our Passports to us the night before (they were being held most of the cruise) and the Retreat Concierge escorted us to our driver who was waiting for us. We were given a Transit Pass similar to what you get on a B2B and our stateroom key was taken from us as we left the ship. When we rejoined the ship the Documentation Agent came to the gate and gave us back our room key. The Indian Immigration was paintful and had to manually write down everything from you passport in a log book. As it ended up the Celebrity Tour was on the same airplane as us in both directions and we all arrived at the port at the same time.
  6. I guess you are more than an expert than the Emergency Staff at RCL who gave me a written approval for A DOWN LINE DISEMBARKATION as well as a DOWN LINE EMBARKATION.
  7. Mine was more complicated as we were taking a side trip from New Mangalore and rejoining the ship a couple days later to visit the Taj. The ship had a tour also but was 3x the price I did it privately. On ours instead of staying in New Deli overnight we stayed in Agra. We had a private driver and guide for 3 days and was one of the best tours we have ever taken.
  8. Yes. I do it all the time. You may have to resize it to meet their requirement but there are many websites that do this for free if you google. I initially took the photo I shot for Cruise and saved on my laptop. I find it easiest to upload from the web page than the app since I have the pictures on my laptop. I generally complete the online checkin using the iPhone and then come back and add picture on my pc
  9. You can but you need to apply in advance and they have to approve it. I believe the cost is $60.00. I've done it before and they check to make sure there are no restrictions and have to potentially arrange customs.
  10. Thanks for taking the time to post. Really enjoy reading along and hearing of your fun vacation.
  11. Agree - we did on our own. They sell tickets right at the pier and the one we took included a boat ride to the Gratta Azzurra (the Blue Crotto) not to be missed.
  12. Also the ship was at over 3% and all the quarantine cabins were occupied.
  13. Many of us use these from Amazon or even Ebay - I bought one set 6 years ago and are still using the original ones. They are beyond sturdy and the wire screw ties have never come unhooked.
  14. You can only edit a post on CC for about 15 minutes after original post then they disable the ability to edit or delete.
  15. It's like on airlines. Everyone has a priority but some priorities are better than others. I really don't worry about my bag whether in an Upper Suite or Aqua. Upper Suites have a special location to drop off bags at the Priority Desk and luggage is suppose to get to your room faster... .I've never noticed it really made a difference except to make you feel "Special"
  16. That would certainly work. Ive had both tests at a test center but mostly at home monitored. I just do it while having coffee in the morning. For those taking the test on a PC I found the easiest was to sit on the floor in front of a cocktail table. My PC's camera is in the lower left hand corner
  17. Iain isn't into social media or Cruise Critics. I do read things to him at times but I don't think he has ever eve logged in. I'll be glad to pass on messages. Actually on a cruise he meets more CC members than I do. Since I'm usually behind the camera people come up to him all the time.
  18. I tell you room and status didn't help us much. We tried to get dinner and it took us until 9:30 before after blowing up that I got results. Once you test Positive they treat you like the scum of the earth. Just my personal opinion of course.
  19. I found after taking about 6 tests that it really doesn't matter which site you choose they both take you to the same place. I find the eMed site easiest to navigate if using a PC and once you log in it also prompts you log into Navica if you want your results on your phone. From the App (at least on iPhone) if you go to Navica and choose the monitored test - bottom button says Test with eMed
  20. Thanks... had just updated my post. 3 month extension.
  21. One precaution is that many of the tests from the U.S. Government have short expiration dates. The last batch of iHealth ones I received have a 8/7/22 use by date. I don't know if they have an extension like Abbott's tests. I just googled and they have a 3 month extension from shelf life date.
  22. You could choose to dine with them in the MDR on a couple nights if you choose and maybe do a Specialty or two.
  23. We were married at San Francisco City Hall June 30, 2008 just after the Supreme Court of California ruled that same sex marriage violated California Constitution. It was a wonderful day with my Sister, Daughter and Iain's Aunt from Scotland in attendance. Officially we were only permitted 2 guests but they turned their eye on it. There was then a Proposition that made it illegal again on November 5, 2008. Our marriage was Grandfathered by the California Supreme Court and in June 26, 2015 the Supreme Court struck down state bans on Gay Marriage.
  24. Your friends will have a total different process than you. They will have to go through the normal boarding process starting around 11:00 while you will probably be cleared by around 9:30 or so. You will be able to greet them once they are on the ship.
  25. Yes B2B testing was required the morning before turn around day. There was a letter delivered to our room with time and location and brief instructions. Basically show up for test, Return back to your room and remain in room until you are notified of your results - Actually we got our results via the testing site portal within 20 minutes and I found out I tested positive before I got the call and the knock on the door.
