  1. I would love to see both Cocoa AND Vero Beach. We own Disney vacation and the have a beautiful resort there that we use all the time. We drive and it’s only 2 hours but would be great to have the option of a comfortable train ride down. I love Vero Beach!
  2. Yes, I meant to say that. The coffee is free 😁
  3. I guess what the poster meant is it isn’t right for all the other non Kosher guests to lost a venue that they all paid for in their fare.
  4. The breakfast menu that you hang on the door that includes coffee, is free
  5. Thanks! So far none of our flights have been from C but will in the future I’m sure.
  6. Not a big area, but it’s a small ship. Wasn’t there glass on the floor that you could look down? Wonder what happened to that or is it in the wooden circle thing?
  7. I wanted to let you know (because we had discussed it once), that when we got off in FLL from the Odyssey TA, we just hopped in a cab to the Amtrak station ( a quick 10 min ride ) and got on the 8:30 train to Winter Haven, then a quick Uber home. The whole trip including cab, train and Uber was about $125. Brightline is new and beautiful, but when we booked the Amtrak, it wasn’t up and running yet and we decided to keep the Amtrak reservation. The travel time was the same for both, around 3 hours. Luggage was free on the train. Since we live south of OIA, it was much less hassle and quicker for us to get home from the train in Winter Haven. For future cruises, Im curious to hear how you make out, I know you live fairly close to us and I’m interested in how you’re getting home from the airport and how it was getting out in Terminal C which I hear is a long walk.
  8. The WJ isn’t open that early, but there’s usually an area that always has water and coffee outside it somewhere. Cafe promanade is open then too.
  9. I had to read this twice…..the WJ is better than the MDR …..good to know. on the Odyssey TA we ate in WJ more nights than we have ever done on a cruise. We liked it. And the MDR menu got boring, the same “themes” over and over.
  10. We’re also doing 2 segments on the WC. We just got home from 27 days from a B2B on Odyssey plus additional days before the cruises in Italy. We only brought a carryon and backpack each. I brought clothes for me that I could handwash in the sink and hang to dry on my magnet hooks, and being D+, we sent 4 bags of laundry total (2 each) which was hubby’s T shirts and shorts, socks… things that we didn’t mind being cooked to death. It won’t be a problem for us not having the laundry privilege, but it would have been nice.
  11. I have the exact same magnets, along with smaller lighter ones for other things like hats
  12. We live in Central Florida, hour and twenty to PC or Tampa. We prefer these over FLL or Miami because they’re closer. But for us, since small ships cruise from Tampa, it’s always much less crowded and parking is easier. The past couple of times we drove to PC were not pleasant and parking was confusing and no one there seemed to know where we could park. In Tampa we use Valet parking, it’s a bit more $ but to get off the ship and walk out the door to our car is worth the extra for us.
  13. Radiance is our favorite class and we mostly cruise just on those ships…..except when we do TAs.
  14. We were on the same TA and have a totally different view of the cruise, and the ship! Loved it! And this was not our first or last TA on Odyssey. It’s probably our favorite ship.
  15. We were away on a long cruise and I want on these boards…can you give me a link to your review of Adventure? I saw some not good posts on that other site and were booked next year. Thanks.
  16. That sounds cool! Did you take any pictures of that to share? We’re watching for a canal cruise for 2025, full up in 2024….
  17. Thanks for all the pictures!! The views from the height of the ship are way better than we got from that teeny tiny ferry boat we were on in February!
  18. We got off our ship yesterday, the 2nd leg of our B2B and didn’t get an invoice emailed like they said in the disembark paper. And yes we also checked our spam. We did get the survey though. The first leg we got the invoice emailed very soon after. Im only interested because we had a credit after the cruise and I want to be sure we do get the credit. Should I call someone?
  19. Just got back from the Odyssey TA and catching up with this thread. Although I like the WJ annex, it’s a good idea to convert it to a card room. On Odyssey almost every table, every venue including 270 and every bar we visited, was overtaken by card/game players. We couldn’t even have lunch in Gio’s Wine Bar because there was nowhere for us to sit and the guy there said they can’t say anything. The lectures in 270 had most if not all the tables taken over all day with card/game groups, who were loud at times and disruptive for those of us that wanted to hear the lecture. Many tables in the WJ also had people there all day. I have nothing against card or other games, and obviously on a TA with many “at sea” days, it’s necessarily for people to have places to go, I just feel they need a place to do it. I heard grumbling about the the chair hogs in the Solarium too for the same reason, they needed a place to go. I’m not complaining here, we had a beautiful balcony we enjoyed, I’m just stating what we saw. And for a cruise as long as the World Cruise will be, a dedicated area for cards and games is a good idea.
  20. Since I wrote that he checked and found out he can use that outlet too. Thanks.
