Last year on Odyssey TA to Rome, on day two the captain diverted the ship to PR to drop off a woman that had fallen in the theatre and we heard broke her leg. Her family had to get off too, we saw them all getting off at the pier.

We once talked with a guy in the suite lounge that said he made Pinnacle from gambling comped cruises. At least that’s what he told us.

when we were on Serenade in February, we did this tour. The emerald place was a total waste of our time, obviously they wanted us to buy emeralds…. The people selling things became very aggressively annoying, so every time I saw them coming towards me I just turned my back to them. I don’t like being rude, but I had no choice. i would never do any tour there again…..and yes, it was very not and we’re from Florida and used to heat.

Yes, unfortunately parents could get a bit lax watching their children sometimes when there are other adults also watching. They can get comfortable thinking that with so many eyes on everything, that their children will be safe. And I know the example you’re mentioning. Very sad.

Unfortunately I’ve seen much younger children younger than 16 roaming the halls and stairs unattended, some look under 10. Sometimes doing things I wouldn’t have allowed my children to do.

I really dislike the word “blame”. No one is at fault (another word I dislike). The teen made a decision to do something that ended his life unfortunately. It’s very sad for him and his family.

I also have it for Bella 2 on Wonder, but not Utopia since it was still greyed out in the app

I haven’t seen this thread in a long time, so I apologize if this has been answered somewhere…we’re also on Utopia in Feb 2025 and although I usually apply for the OBC as soon as I book, I didn’t yet for this cruise. Have you been able to get the OBC for Utopia?

I think the excuse that they need rooms for potential sick cruisers is BS. On our Odyssey TA last month, some cruisers DID get Covid and stayed in their original cabins. They weren’t moved to a special area as was done in 2021 after cruises resumed. So that doesn’t make sense to me.

Yes the early time was 530 and the sign outside said 5:15 but our servers said it would be good if we came at 5. We didn’t but they asked if we could.

Which Radiance cruise? We also have an upcoming cruise on it

Last month on our cruise there were many empty tables in our area during early dining, and so within half an hour they were bringing in MTD guests. So get in line early and you may get in.

Same for us, we switched back to Early dining. We used to always do MTD, which we would book for 6 and usually get there around 545. Now early dining says 530, but they want you there at 5.

We don’t go to the lounge for happy hour either, especially on the first night when it’s typically packed. Were only D+ so we can’t get into the suite lounge unless we’re in a suite, which we do sometimes.

That happened to us coming back on the Odyssey TA. They thought we were in Spain for the whole cruise back

The glass on Odyssey was on our JS. In a balcony room on Odyssey the bathroom light that stays lit very low in the corner of the light. we had to keep the door closed because it was too bright for us to sleep.

We just did the westbound TA on Odyssey and I chose a cabin on the port side specifically for the sun. Since these cruises typically are when weather is changing from the humid summer, we found that we were able to keep the balcony door open all afternoon and let in the beautiful sounds of the ocean.

Some of those days we plan to just get off, stroll around, have a quick bite and maybe a glass of wine, and stroll back to the ship. last month we did a B2B on Odyssey, and the first cruise was the revised “Holy Land” and we did some long, what they said were “strenuous” excursions. We were exhausted! And then the first week of the TA was also port heavy. We definitely enjoyed all the sea days after that.

For Those showers with the curtain, I always have lots of magnets with me, so I use a few to keep the curtain inside.
