Agree, the panic by many here is somewhat comical.

I was on that sailing, we experienced some "propulsion issues" leaving Cozumel....speed was off a bit. Ship left later for the 4 night on the 24th and went to Nassau...apparently repairs were preformed and they stayed late in Nassau...arrived later at Ocean Cay according to some on the other site that stayed on board for the 4 day. time will tell on the issues. We were in YC and had zero issues. Other than the later departure Sunday. We were off the ship and out of the parking garage by 11:30.

Hit the guest services at off hours…I always try and do that if possible. I’m not waiting 45 minutes for ten bucks.

If someone can’t see the Caribbean itineraries are staid, I can’t help them. That is the main reason my Wife and I haven’t tried one.

Now schedule some longer trips without ikea furniture and provide a drink package..oh, and many of the videos I’ve seen of the normal balcony bathroom shower look almost unmanageable. The grass is not always greener…that said, competition is always good.

In the YC area, I really don’t see much benefit in these…maybe I’m missing something, umbrellas and nice padded chairs are everywhere, not to mention towels, waiters etc..

All of this is excellent advice..The Wife and I were just off Seaside where we overnighted at the island..the two beach days are very nice.

I have had staff ask me for room number if I didn’t have my cruise card..it would be pretty easy to input wrong number.

Goes on a good bit on cruises, the staff on board isn’t perfect.

I definitely would want the drink reimbursement wording in writing…they may want to offer you a gift card for the amount.

I expect it will weaken significantly when it starts hitting cooler water..so that should be in your favor. I will say I really like that itinerary, looks fun. Lots of things to see.

The soot in port can be much worse than when sailing due to the winds, etc...they still have to run at least one engine to power the boat.

Do the math…many times it is still cheaper.

Sounds like the lounger appeared..I’m thinking a $20 tip would ease the process.
