  1. Status, who cares..I sail Celebrity, MSC YC. Royal and NCL with younger family. My Bride and I are late 50’s. Big Celebrity fans. Honestly, with the attitudes I’ve seen by some here, glad y’all are moving on. I’m sure the next line will disappoint too.
  2. Port of Miami is the only option..they are in a long row…not sure of the exact terminal.
  3. Re land based AI’s in the Caribbean, everyone I have been to I find to be middle of the road at best re Liquor selections, unless you are looking for Rum.
  4. This, exactly this^^^^^ To the OP...relax, enjoy the cruise. That is a great itinerary.
  5. No..the app may open the door on some of the newer ships, I’m not sure. I rarely look at my phone once I board.
  6. Agree, I’m in the ATL area and wish they would get back to some longer itineraries from Port Everglades..
  7. I'll be honest, that theater on the Edge class ships IS one of the best I've been in at sea.
  8. I am already not locked into one cruise line...I like different experiences...sailing for the 2nd time in the Yacht Club on MSC next week...I've sailed Royal and NCL in the last few years also...but mostly Celebrity. I have two bookings next year on Celebrity...one on Ascent and one on the Equinox in the Med. I expect both of those to be a nice experience. I prefer the entire ship on Celebrity, I prefer the YC on MSC. I have a neighbor who has sailed Celebrity exclusively until recently trying a Princess Cruise out of Southhampton for the Baltics...he came back and said that although it was nice, he didn't feel like it was up to Celebrity standards. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.
  9. Agreed..anything can be an alternative. As someone pointed out, maybe size doesn’t matter. 🙂 That being said, I think Princess and HAL probably line up as closely with Celebrity as much as anyone. Pricing seems all over the map with most cruise lines to me..it can vary a lot week to week. Celebrity’s newer E Class ships have gotten a little pricey, IMHO. I do wish Celebrity had more 10-14 day cruises to choose from..
  10. Seems pretty clear to me that you would lose the room grats.
  11. I see a menu full of uncharges for the good stuff. I'm sure Carnival is fine for many....I'm also sure they would gladly take your reservation. Happy Sailing.
  12. Call me crazy, I just order off the menu. 🙂 I don't want to send the staff running all over the ship to find a non menu item that I have a craving for.
  13. I don’t see the point in buying it for yourself…maybe I’m missing something.
  14. That's a change from Equinox last fall for sure. They were not asking for sail cards or about drink packages at all....
  15. They had the "champagne" sitting on top of the Al Bacio coffee bar the last time I boarded...pretty easy to get one. I'm guessing a lot of it was wasted when they handed one to everyone boarding.
  16. Celebrity can't instantly cut the size of their ships and capacity to please many of the people commenting on this thread.
