A bath is a big negative for my Wife and I. We sailed a JS on Allure, very narrow tub, hard to shower in in the rough seas we encountered. I’ll take a nice big walk in shower anyday.
Correct, and the Wife and I utilize the drinks package...having the room service charge is just gravy for us.
I have priced it out at times vs a Veranda will All Included and Aqua has come out to be about the same, even less at times. We have a 10 day booked in the Med next September on Equinox, this was the exact case on that cruise.
I-95 between Jax and I-4 can be a challenge for many. 3 lanes pretty much running Nascar style the entire way. Sort of like I-75 in Georgia between, well pretty much anywhere in Georgia. 🙂
I almost always get an upgrade offer. Many times the cabins they are offering are showing sold out on my sailing..I think they use much of the data to determine future pricing structures...as in, what will people pay?
I've sailed in YC, we always hit up at least one specialty restaurant. I would possibly hit two if one was included, as it may be for you. A highlife for me in the YC is the breakfast/lunch buffet served outside. Hopefully your weather is good and you can enjoy. A nice hot pizza waiting in your room late at night is a nice perk too....the Butler can arrange is you so desire.
Your comment about going YC and not going back is spot on for me and the Wife.

Re the "demographic" comment....LOL....I'm a Celebrity normal cruiser...they will probably get an extra cruise out of me a year with this move.
Late 50's..grown kids not at home demographic for me and the Bride.
But that didn’t answer my question. I did not ask about the whole ship. Also not sure which MSC ship has 4000 cabins? I see your point, but it also takes paid workers to handle your cancellation..so it’s more than likely a wash at best.
BTW, I cancelled an excursion on my Sept MSC cruise yesterday, will be interesting to see how quickly they rebate the $160 to my card. 2% yearly on that amount would be around 25 cents a month.
