It seems the basic soft drink option has very limited choices.

When I originally called Celebrity I got an agent that didn't understand B2B bookings. When I called back I got an agent who knew what she was doing and linked the 2 cruises and gave me a discount on both cruises.

This means it is risky to book a flight back home the same day as the cruise day ends.

Thinking of the soft drinks option on the QE. It states that draught soft drinks are included. I was looking for the complete list of soft drinks included, specifically the complete list of sodas. E.g., is ginger ale one of the options?

We are thinking of taking our grandchildren on a cruise. I know Disney is supposed to be a good cruise line for children. We just got off a Celebrity cruise and there were only a few children on-board (around 7-8 children). I talked to the parents and they all said the children were happy. For those of you who have sailed with children on both cruise lines I would like to hear what people think. We would book a regular veranda on either cruise line. As far as I can tell Disney would definitely be more expensive.

This is the second time in 30 day that the ship was delayed due to fog. The port authority closed the port so it was not Celebrity's fault. However, it makes me start to wonder if Tampa is a viable cruise port.

I think staying around NYC and doing your own excursion would make the most sense. NYC is easy to do on your own. Depending on when you get in you could do Philadelphia for a day on your own however it is significant travel time each way so it may not be worth it.

Australia may be different. Just off a Constellation cruise, cruise ended Feb 3. As we had the non-classic alcohol package (purchased it before they changed everything) didn't have to pay for sodas and espresso-based coffees. As far as I can tell they charge for soda and espresso-based coffees for those pax without a package. Espresso based coffees were around $5 each and were made well. Personally, I think the regular coffee on Celebrity is the worst at sea. For all the time I was onboard I only tasted the regular brewed coffee once just to be sure it was as bad as I remembered from a previous cruise. I did not see 7-up anywhere.

Also, if you do not call it may not be flagged as B2B and if it isn't there could be problems with the consecutive cruise. I.e, you might need to do a full disembark with luggage.

FYI, just of Constellation. The kid’s menu is NO longer available to adults.

Just finished a 10 night on Constellation in a Family Veranda. Originally booked OV but got an upgrade for what I consider a great price to FV. The cruise met my minimum acceptable standards. Overall we enjoyed the cruise. I pre booked the non alcoholic classic which unfortunately is no longer available. Assuming no further cutbacks I might book another Celebrity cruise assuming reasonable prices. However I would prefer Oceania.

Celebrity has also slashed the evening buffet on Constellation as said in other posts.

Bermuda Shorts with over the calf socks, a jacket, dress dirt and tie is pretty formal. Maybe they would allow it on a Bermuda cruise.

Trying to decide if I would bring a bathing suit in my carry on? It is going to be cold on embarkation.

So, for example, if you like Cunard and Oceania, then Virgin is NOT the cruise line for you.

What type of shorts are we talking about? I assume proper Bermuda shorts would be fine.

Have you been on Oceania. Pre-COVID I though their dinner buffets were amazing.

For anything less than something like a Chateau Latour Grand Vin I would absolutely get screw top unfortunately not all reasonable wines come with a screw top.

Two bottles of wine per adult up to 4 bottles per cabin.

Celebrity recently changes things and have confused everyone. Wait a month or 2 for Celebrity to clear things up.

I usually ask for a couple of glasses at one of the bars. Also, I bring my own corkscrew.
