Was the adventure interesting even if it was tiring?

I would also like to hear about the St. Kitts Rainforest Adventure from anyone who has been on it.

I filled it out on my laptop. You don't need the app. No one ever asked for the printout so not sure how it actually gets used.

I really don't want to start a dress code war. If I sail out of NYC I am happy to pack a tux for formal nights and a jacket for other nights. I don't mind using a little extra room in my car (we can drive to the port) for a suit bag and actually enjoy dressing up for dinner on occasion. However, I have booked a 10-day Alaska cruise next year out of Vancouver on QE and really don't want to use valuable luggage space for jackets or a tux. Nice slacks, collared shirts and tie are not a significant problem. Am I going to be in trouble on formal nights in the MDR (we really don't like the buffet for dinner)? Do I have any options?

Off the top of my head I am not sure what the penalty schedule is however, wouldn't it have saved money to cancel and rebook.

Hot coffee and hot tea are also available. Personally, I did not like the coffee at all. Generally, the Always Included makes sense if you drink a good amount of alcohol. At embarkation, you are also allowed to bring on a couple of bottles of wine and while I have not been able to find the details however, I think you can bring on a limited amount of soda. If all you have that is addition is the occasional espresso drink and a glass of wine or cocktail occasionally the AI is not worth it. However, there is a convenience in having the AI. On a recent cruise we did AI and enjoyed it but probably drank more alcohol than we should have. The next cruise we booked decided to do cruise only. There are great long threads going intricate detail of when it does and does not make sense to get AI. Additionally, the AI includes gratuities that are quite high on Celebrity so that has to be taken into account.

Anyone have any idea where to look for the St. Kitts requirements for travel by cruise line?

Besides possibly price what are the pros and cons of booking air travel with Cunard? We have a cruise out of Vancouver next year. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Does Cunard typically offer the train ride in Skagway (White Pass & Yukon Route) as an excursion option or do i need to arrange that myself?

A question about cabins 7002 and 7003. Also, 6000 and 6001. For cruises before April 24, 2023 those four cabins are designated as Ocean View Category 04. After April 25, 2023 the four cabins become Deluxe Ocean View. Cabins 6002 and 6003 go from Ocean View 04 to Prime Ocean View. What makes cabins 7002, 7003, 6000, and 6001 deluxe?

I am a little confused about this thread. If you book refundable why not check periodically before final payment. Can't you get a reprice if the fare drops?

I was on Adventure of the Seas recently. Royal has seriously gone down in quality. We did Celebrity recently and it was much better. Try a different cruise line.

As one data point, we had basic internet on a Summit cruise to Bermuda and the internet service was horrid. Most of the time could not do basic email or basic web surfing. Worse then back in the days of modems, for those who remember.

Had basic internet on Celebrity Summit. Less then useless. Even just reading email worked only half the time.

Celebrity is offering increased OBC this weekend, same cabin price as we have already. It would out to $100 for our cabin. Is it worth calling or should I wait until there is a more significant price change.

If it helps, we had an AI on a cruise which is really the basic alcohol package. So I think the basic non-alcohol should be the same without the alcohol. We were able to get Cappuccinos, Lates, etc. at Bacio without a problem (except with a lot of people getting AI there always seemed to be a line on our Bermuda cruise). I personally thought the free coffee was pretty bad (some of the worst I have had at sea), so we opted for the basic non-alcohol package. I think between the espresso drinks, soda, and bottled water it will more than pay for itself. We don't drink enough alcohol to justify the AI package.

In the US many times Cunard requires final payment 120 days out. I personally NEVER wait until the last possible moment to make a final payment just in case there is a problem at the last minute, especially if you are going through a travel agent. You don't want your cruise cancelled because of last minute problems. In general, cell service isn't reliable from a ship unless you are docked. If you need internet service while at sea buy a package. Time of embarkation depends on the specific cruise.

Can't quite justify Queens Grill. However, given the superior itinerary I think we will go with Cunard.
