  1. Yes, both people have to have the package.
  2. Yes, you'll find it in the desk drawer.
  3. Coming back onto ship last fall at San Juan I had 2 cans in my purse and the gentleman manning the scanner just looked at me, smiled and waved me thru. It was a good day!
  4. I'm right there with you. I compare it to a coffee drinker being told there will be no coffee available onboard the ship but you can have tea. It's just not the same!
  5. I don't think I would for a 7 or 14 day trip but on our longer vacations I do start to miss my go to treats from home and pick something up along the way. Unfortunately, Mountain Dew can be a challenge to find outside the US😔
  6. I suggest you read some of the blogs from previous World Cruises that aren't on Cruise Critic. Many times they will mention specific travel agents that you may want to look into.
  7. I didn't know that the Dutch Cafe is excluded, are you sure about that?
  8. It could well be that those flights were also cancelled.
  9. That's great! And I am quite impressed with your awesome record keeping skills
  10. Maybe prepaid shore excursions that aren't refundable? I can't think of anything else that would be a monetary loss.
  11. There is a limit on how much spending credit you can receive. You receive 1 day credit for every $300 spent. I think the spending credit is capped at the number of days of the cruise. So on a 14 day cruise you can only receive (an additional) 14 days of credit from purchases.
  12. Excellent advice for any must see destination!
  13. I would at least try one of the offered cabins. At this point what do you have to lose?
  14. I haven't done a ship's excursion but from what I've seen you still have to report to the lounge and wait for your tour to be called. They are given priority though.
  15. I'm sorry it was so much effort for you to get out and enjoy the show but very happy you made it!
  16. Are your bookings linked? That may help get the same boarding times.
  17. Some of that difference is that the larger cabins are handicap accessible. You can see which those are by checking the deck plans.
  18. It must be so nice to finally be able to meet the people on the roll call! Looks like a beautiful day in Cartagena
  19. I'm so glad you decided to continue with your travel plans. Airports aren't fun in the best of times imagine navigating them with a newly injured foot! And the ship is a much better place to heal, physically and mentally. The moral support of friends and family will also be better than going home to recover. You've got this!
  20. Wow, Girona is beautiful! Spain & Portugal were going to be our trip this coming spring but I decided to give the Norway cruise another try, so maybe 2024? I'm glad you were able to work something out to get you on the Dam ship and hopefully you'll not need it very long.
