  1. Got this email the last hour showing changes for travel . We look forward to welcoming you! Because your arrival date to Bermuda is on or after August 22, 2022, we wanted to notify you of some upcoming changes to our traveler policies. If you are vaccinated, you may disregard this email. The rules for vaccinated travellers have not changed. Travel Authorizations are reviewed daily between 8.00am and 8.00pm and prioritized by arrival date, and we will process yours in due time. Starting August 22, 2022, all unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated visitors will be required to provide proof of travel insurance to be allowed to enter Bermuda. Valid proof of travel health insurance includes a certificate of insurance, letter from insurer or medical declaration of insurance or travel insurance that states: Insurer name and address Insured traveler's name Confirmation medical expenses are covered, including COVID-19 coverage (or "all medical expenses") Period of coverage: insurance coverage start date and end date Working crew and unvaccinated children 11 years and under travelling with fully vaccinated guardians are exempt from having to provide proof of travel insurance. Furthermore, the testing requirements for unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated visitors are being relaxed: if you have a valid pre-travel test, you will only have to take a test 4 days after your arrival. You can refer to our traveler guidance webpages to confirm this change: If you are a visitor travelling by air: https://www.gov.bm/coronavirus-travellers-visitors If you are a visitor arriving by cruise ship: https://www.gov.bm/cruise-travel-authorisation If you are a visitor arriving on a yacht or pleasure craft: https://www.gov.bm/mariners-travel-authorisation We realize these rules were not in place when you applied for your travel authorization, but they will be in place when you arrive. If you are unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated and you are not a resident of Bermuda, please reply to us at TAapprovals@gov.bm and provide proof of travel health insurance, and we will upload it to your travel authorization. 2. You are correct on most of the terminals like terminal 1 but terminal 5 for Mariner is pay when you leave which causes a backup. Suppose to be converted when thay get the equipment but time unknown
  3. We always check our agent/site price & extras on lap top on ship before we go and get on board price. Even if we booked on board and get obc and transfer to agent the agencies benefits change as their price margin may drop. Example our agency gives free tips and often group OBC and even onboard the obc etc may turn out to be total priced more than our agency. Do your homework before going into appt on ship
  4. Thanks for sharing your trip and making Diamond Plus. Safe travels for your party . Nancy & Bob
  5. if I am changing cabins I put one on new bags just as a reminder for cabin steward. Have only had to change cabin 6 or 8 times but learned a trick that might save a lost article. We bought clear short zipper clothing bags I believe last year for like 15 for 10.98 from amazon. We take all our hanging stuff and place in 4 0r 5 bags and leave in closet. The cabin steward uses a roll cart like Hampton Inn and they normally load all lose articles and pull down the passageway or into crew area and up the elevator to the new cabin. had several of wife's tops slid off before and lost in shuffle. Bags also good for plaving in between articles for packing
  6. shorts and non collared shirt(T shirt fine for lunch).dressed liked that last week two times for lunch and every morning for pinnacle breakfast on Harmony
  7. Just some info and on the Harmony last week and not the Oasis they served both bottles and cans of Heinekin at coastal kitchen/suite lounge.
  8. same money maker as Cuba ehen you had to buy a one day visa.Been on quite a few cruises but our first to Bermuda. Don't plan to return after Sept.
  9. We made Pinnacle on a three BTB on the Indy the same day we had our 52nd wedding anniversary. Will make our 1050 in about 10 weeks on the Allure. Nancy & Bob
  10. May 8th & June 12th super easy except forb 30 minute delay may 8th for coast guard inspection
  11. On Harmony May 8th and June 12th. Boarded at 1030 and started boarding in terminal at 1100. May 8th they did do a coast guard inspection that delayed everthing 30 minutes Bob
  12. 7620 bed to bathroom. 06,10,14,18,22 Bed to balcony. We are in 7622 in oct.
  13. THe current federal guidelines expire July 14th on government payments and have not been funded yet. Hopefully CONGRESS will get the job done and payments for tests will continue as usually
  14. We were on Mariner 2 times in late April and two in late May. Dudley was the Suite Concierge. Twice our cards would not access lounge. Only Diamond. lounge. 38 Pinnacle aboard but the week before had a larger number and blocked from Suite lounge and open Pinn lounge in library. Went to guess services first day and issued new cards that also didn't work. Had to have Dudley issue all 38 from his computer in Lounge. Maneesh Coopoosamy was the Loyalty nAmbassador but was being transffered in two weeks. Had this also happen on Independence and had Grecia Roca give us a blank gold card for door. Bob
  15. Plenty of people at 5 to direct you to pickup, luggage drop etc and then you pull out and circle back up ramp to park. Bob
  16. We just got off Mariner this morning. We arrived shortly after 3am for a medical emergency. Captain told us Friday night at dining hour he was doing top speed for the rest of the cruise to get emergency off. You pay when you leave and there was a backup in all three lanes. Not like pier 1 on entry. we got off at 730 just after walkoff. No trouble with short 100ft walk to south elevator. Just 10 minute backup paying.
