  1. So you're saying your wife does a better job of chatting up the host than you do, lol. You're too busy giving them $$ to chat. 🤭
  2. Have not been blessed with waiving of fees.
  3. Slightly confused - I have 2 cruises that I want to buy Cheers. Glitchy Cheers has been canceled from both and I want to replace it with "real" Cheers on both. I received 1 code. I've only purchased inside a booking - are you saying I log in to Carnival but not into either of the bookings and buy Cheers like I'm doing a gift for someone? I can add gifts for multiple bookings to my shopping cart then check out using the code? Or are you saying follow process above if I have other bookings to buy it for but I'm SOL on those 2?
  4. Yep. And who's fault is it when it rains? To whom do they plan on addressing that email? Geez - enjoy your cruise!!
  5. For ship to airport at end of cruise, you can also do the ship transfer. Likely not the least expensive but it'll be the easiest to do.
  6. Seems like your glitchy Cheers hasn't been canceled. That's what several of us got when we were still glitchy.
  7. I also got the email - one email, one code. However, I had more than one booking that I purchased Cheers on, so even if the code worked, since it's a single use code, how are we supposed to get the discount on each of our canceled glitchy bookings?! If we all got the same code, the very 1st person that rushed in & bought is the one who got the 10% discount. This just gets better - may drive me to drink. Oh wait, I can't do that cuz I can't buy Cheers!!😆 Has someone already let our friend John H know the codes don't work?
  8. And one recent post is about a non-Carnival ship. Maybe I'm the one in the wrong place - I thought this is a Carnival thread.
  9. I share your frustration. I'm not looking for a special exception - would just like consistency in how things are applied/approved. Still struggling w/adding HIA for same reason.
  10. Gotcha. I thought about that after I posted my response. Ok since you weren't necessarily married to that excursion, but just another pain point. They could/should have simply removed the "glitchy" Cheers purchase. Now we all gotta have your back w/your wife... 😆 🤣 lol
  11. Mine are gone, excursions etc intact. Cheers now available to repurchase at correct rate. NO email w/discount code...
  12. No!! When I checked earlier, both my bookings were intact - I will be very unhappy if excursions, wifi, transfers, etc got canceled. Sure, they will probably eventually make it right, but at 2 weeks out w/sold out excursions, I prefer to not have that kind of headache. Will report back after I've had a chance to look.
  13. Hi @ToXS you might to post this on your roll call; there may be others on your cruise looking to share rides or who can provide specific details for what they've been able to book.🤔
  14. I cannot verify - like others, have just read it happened, but no first hand knowledge.
  15. Nice job on getting that OBC! I see you listed salon service as something you've already booked, but you might also look at booking a special Mother-Daughter service or maybe something just for your daughter like her hair or nails for dressy night - certainly something she'd remember as a special time. The snack trays seem to be a great option. As well as breakfast or dinner on your balcony. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  16. I am not able to provide feedback on any of the snack trays, but just wanted to remind you that once onboard you can buy gift cards w/OBC and use later during another cruise. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  17. I believe it's usually 11:30 - 1 or 1:30. Lines may be long, but they move quickly. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  18. So you received your official email? I sail 9/16 and 9/23 B2B; not received yet. Thought maybe they're processing by sail date...?
  19. So funny - not sure what Mods or the system thought I entered, but the "*****" was "prickly" like prickly pear or pin *****. Is that a naughty word? Legit question, I didn't know prickly is a bad word. 🤔 We'll see what happens to this post. Not looking to get sanctioned, just trying to understand 🫣
  20. Respectfully, this is a HAL thread so not sure that previous experience on different line is relevant. Current HAL policy allows for reasonable (actual # is subjective) amount of wine to be brought onboard in carry-on. While there is a stated corkage fee, it may or may not be collected.
  21. Aligned. Unfortunately, there is quite a lot of "list updating" for various things that needs to happen. Repeat HAL cruisers may dismiss them as mere annoyances (or may not), but new HAL cruisers may well be confused and disappointed. Always best when expectations and experiences align.
  22. IMO that could be cutting it close. If the ship is delayed coming into port, if clearance is not promptly received, if luggage is not immediately available, if customs selects you as the one to "drill" - all impact your ability to arrive at airport in time. Remember, for a 10:25 domestic flight, you would need to be at airport an hour before. With that said, San Diego airport is close by and I've personally never encountered delays at either the cruise terminal or airport, but it only takes 1 little thing to go wonky.
  23. I have not had an issue combining it with any offer or rate or with stacking it on Carnival, but I have on other CCL lines. One call out is it can get a little muddy on B2B - seems it's not consistently applied, so do check once you get confirmation it's been added.
  24. 16 day $207.99 = $13/day from an upcoming Nov cruise.
  25. Also noticed no fresh fruit on all sailings since the restart. I assumed materials had not been updated to remove and didn't ask for any. Instead, I would order it w/morning room service coffee and pick some up in the Lido. Used one of the muffin baskets from breakfast to keep it in. Non-suites.
