  1. I just tried on my Android tablet using Chrome and it worked fine. What dates are you looking for? It may be too far ahead (I had that problem recently for my cruise next February/March). You can only access flights I think 330 days out (and that would be from end date of your sailing).
  2. Layers definitely are your friends when cruising New Zealand, no matter which month!
  3. That's what that says. It's also free from 7pm to 7am and all weekend and public holidays.
  4. For interstate seniors cards: "A concession fare is required from 7am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday" https://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/tickets-and-fares/seniors-card This website has a handy Fare Finder (scroll about halfway down the page) https://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/tickets-and-fares/adelaide-metro-fares#Studentfaresandtickets

  6. There's also Timaru in NZ (a docking port as per my itinerary for Feb 2024).
  7. Oh boy! That must have been quite a scare. Why do things like that pick long weekends to manifest themselves when medical attention is often limited ... Good to hear you're OK - just take it easy and look after yourself. Sending lots of positive vibes your way.
  8. Wouldn't expect any OBC if weather related, only a refund of relevant port charges.
  9. Nice shot but with the red tugs this looks more like Wellington. The tugs in Port Chalmers are blue.
  10. Thanks for sharing your photos. Are you saying you walked all the way into the city centre? Why not take the bus or tram? Hope you're enjoying your stay here in Sydney today. I see you were lucky and docked at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, which is so much more convenient for sightseeing than the alternative (White Bay).
  11. I have a cruise booked for Feb 2024 and was able to book shore excursions but not specialty dining yet. I suggest log in and try 🙂
  12. Don't think anybody would be happy about that sort of situation but I think I would actively do something to remedy it, like find anything anywhere to purchase (either onboard or ashore) and then claim on insurance. It's not like they were in the jungle or a third world country. On the subject of ashore - they said Christchurch was their first port after six (6) days?? And the only thing she bought were some jeans she didn’t like so didn’t wear ...
  13. That is the Explorations Cafe on the Noordam (and it does show on the deck plan)
  14. Story about a couple where the wife's suitcase was lost (inside the ship apparently) during their NZ cruise. They'll find anything to put a negative spin on cruise companies I think ... https://9now.nine.com.au/a-current-affair/cruise-customer-tears-after-lost-luggage-forced-her-to-wear-same-clothes/b3e163cc-bbcd-4474-8c58-d15eca63e14e
  15. From a wildlife cruise in Port Chalmers, NZ
  16. Thanks for the recommendation - I'll have a Port Lincoln stop in December. Hope you're enjoying the cruise.
  17. On Noordam late last month we received cloth bags celebrating the 150th anniversary
