I just looked at the Princess website for your 8th Jan cruise and it shows 18 excursions for Tauranga.

No need to uninstall etc. In 'Settings ' select 'Apps', find the app and click on it to get 'App info'. Scroll down to 'App details in store' (below that it shows the version you have on your phone) and click on it. You should now be in 'Google Play' and if an update is available there will be a button for it. The three dots in the top right corner will reveal an option to enable auto-update. Hope this helps.

I have not had to use the 'add and then drop third person' trick, simply booked for what I required. Interestingly you can book a mini-suite for one or two pax without any workaround, even though they also hold three 🤔 I can't comment on whether you can transfer booking to your TA as I don't use one.

I had the same thing happen, when clicking through, the price changed. So I contacted the PVP and it was no problem. Lost OBC but price drop was greater and moved up to MS 😀

Contacted my PVP and upgraded my Dec 2024 cruise from balcony to mini-suite (DC to MC) with a net saving of $200 😀 I agree that the specials came out very late (I kept checking too) and the conditions and explanations were very confusing.

To check for real availability on deluxe balconies you need to do a mock booking for 3 passengers (1 or 2 will only show guarantees). Once you have found your desired available cabin, contact your CVP or Princess to make the reservation for your party of one or two passengers. I have done it through my CVP without problems.

Those prices would be in AUD as that is the ship's currency on Majestic Princess during its Australian season.

As per Ch 7, it was Pacific Adventure due to bio security concerns. Apparently they knew of the issue and had planned to do hull clean when they got to NZ but bad weather prevented this. Now heading for Hobart with $300 OBC for pax.

Why would you want to pay in USD? Taking today's rate for the card I would normally use, I've saved over AUD70 pp for the 16 day cruise 🙂 I believe all other pre-purchases would be payable in USD . Your time will come too 😉 (I've already waited since January)

Log into your account, then click on the yellow 'Manage My Cruise' button On the next screen, select 'Pre-pay Crew Appreciation'. On the following screen you will see the daily rates (which are US@) and the A$ total for your cruise (you can then do the calculation for the exchange rate).

With HAL you can pre-pay your gratuities in A$, at a very favourable exchange rate 🙂 Just log in to your account for the details.
