Allure had lots sick. I got sick. Went to medical. If it's not covid they dont care. Sold me night quil and cough drops to get thru week 2 of my b2b. Lots of coughing in the elevators. I skipped shows and tried to keep to myself. If you test negative for covid they dont pay for room service. You are on your own if you get sick. I didnt get sick until the 2nd leg started or I'd have gotten off. I was sick for 3 weeks with whatever I caught.

Yes to reserve them you pay in advance. They cost more onboard.

The party was awful lol. Not like what I'm used to when I lived in s. Florida. I was surprised they had cut up papaya on allure. First time I've seen it.

I like the plantains on Caribbean night. A couple of things I like.

Allure the WJ was full everywhere. However the solarium always had seating. Went there for breakfast. I personally liked WJ food for dinner. That's probably why it was so crowded. It was good food to me. We had the best ribs the last night. Perfectly cooked. Meaty. I like Caribbean night too. Good baked cod 2nd night. Best fish I've had. Its popular lol. Because it's good.

I'm with you. Unless your luggage didnt arrive I think its wierd to wear to the WJ for breakfast.

Allure was hard for me to find WJ seating. Agree with op about hard to find seating. That fresh mexican up on 15 during lunch seating difficult as well. Park cafe worked better for lunch formed. Didnt ruin my cruise, just a observation.

We sound like much the same except I might eat some breakfast. I did b2b on allure and was sick 2nd week so kinda missed a lot. So I'm following along. I did central park and then boardwalk. I was glad I had a view of the ocean the week I was sick. I too read a lot like you and love a good salad. Lol I wished they had more seeds in park cafe for toppings. I was so happy they had arugula there. Love it. I loved allure. Mama mia was exceptional imo.

Of course. I think I said Galveston has nice ships doing 7 days, but few choices near that $100 a day. I cant book carnival jubilee under about $1300 on the cheapest date inside cabin. Nice ships you bet.

Theres some cost and planning drawing and pulling away staff just for cc members. If they were flush with cash flow sure, but right now I'm ok with cutting it. No loss imo.

Megan's bay is very local unless its changed. Probably been 10 years but there was a gang related shooting out by the street and people used to be scared to go. People now dont remember any more. I enjoyed the local flavor.

Lol I'm out of Galveston and almost no 7 day cruises are in that range. In the $1k range looks good to me any more. I paid closer to 1200 and 1300 for last dec b2b. The boardwalk balcony was higher. And that's before any extra like tips and excursions and food. True we have allure for our 7 days if we want rcl. And it's very nice but dec 2024 harmony is pushing $1500 booked direct. Over $200 a day. Inside balcony, that's not even a ov balcony. I too love $100 a day solo, but those rates are disappearing. My other choice is to stay home.

I would bet the part seeing portobelo will be a place to eat and shop. I'll be hungry. Just from rcl other excursions lately, they stop for lunch on your dime.

The eco and locks is sold out. The just eco tour I dont believe you can see the locks. I booked the portobello and locks. Says half will see some locks. This is the one sold out also sees the locks. Second is what I have booked. The other choice with locks was like 8 or 9 hours. This is 7 still long to me. Hope it's good.

Get a $25 massage in costa maya Rcl has a shuttle the day of. I always fly in thru day before. There are xmas things all dec. Ship is decorated. Carols with santa, lol. Quite a few xmas activities. I would do 2 adjoining cabins. Quality inn or a hotel with free cruise parking. Inn at waterfront has a parking pkg. I think hilton does. Many hotels. Depends what price range

These are new since covid. Before there was a 7 hour all day just locks with lunch. About $169. Not offered now. I'm a bit disappointed.

Liberty to me looks tired. No pool tv, been broken since before covid. I'd choose the newer ship

4 5 and 6 only see the locks. I had booked the eco plus locks and changed to the portobello and locks. Better price, I think 6 would be my preference. 6 is now sold out or 1 space for march 27. Selling out. I woulnt pick the others and not see some of the locks.
