  1. If its showing you can spend it now. Mine has also been showing up earlier. I like being able to use it on items in the planner on sale. When you go to check out there is a place where you have to type in the amount. Let's say dinner is 50 plus 18%, shows total $59. You have to type in the amount of obc you want to use. Its doesnr fill in automatically.
  2. You guys are really on a roll this morning. Good joke on your knees sea dog. I love the Taylor swift chicken name. What a cute idea. Living here is like being on a cruise with things to do to choose from. The bridge players want to still play bridge July 4 at the vets center. My condo is having a july 4th cook out for $5 and bring a dessert or side. They are providing all beef hot dogs or sloppy joes. I dont eat hot dogs unless burnt on a grill but ok with sloppy joes. Ladies at aerobics said it would be a good chance to meet other tenants here. It's a very large place. 3 towers. I'm tower 3 and all are 8 stories. So even in the summer there are still plenty of residents. I'm torn between which to do. My bridge partner wants to play and I hate to say no, but might do the july 4th get together. Today is water aerobics 9 to 10 but by the time I get back here and out of my bathing suit to get to bridge by 1130 ish my hair is still wet and I feel rushed. It does feel a lot like being on a cruise. Food is still the shock, how much higher publix is than kroger was at home. Coffee and produce, a bag of salad. The difference is huge. They do a lot of buy 1 get 1 free and still higher than on sale at kroger. Margarine 5.99. So still $3 at half price. I'm used to about 2.69. Publix whipped butter 2 for $6 on sale, only 8 oz. And coffee at publix. They have lost their minds. When I used to live in boca there was a fresh produce stand. I havent found anything like that yet though I saw laura went to one over in her area, middle of florida. So too far to drive regularly. I'd noticed John stopping to shop in his posts on his way driving back to top of the world, now I know why. Still working on sunrise shots. I gotta remember not to turn on the living room light before I take pictures, the light reflects. Still lots of clouds but little rain right here.
  3. There is a may 26 2025 rome to athens. Plan B? It's a 7 day too.
  4. Hopefully they have a plan B if this gets cancelled like they just did to brillance. Make sure everything booked is refundable.
  5. Have you checked the deployment thread. It sounds like there are issues for sept and oct 2025 for Voyager and posters expect them to be cancelled. I would read thru the latest posts. Does it go thru the red sea or idk but might be doing some special cruises and not the ones shown. Read before you book as suites are non refundable. I think someone from rcl said unique itineraries ... to replace what's shown? Start reading here ... This document shows Voyager on “ Unique Sailing” for 3 months September to December 2025. i wonder if Voyager is going take passengers around South Africa from Barcelona to Brisbane. It would be a big deployment change. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Deployment/2025_2026/2025-2026_Deployment_Summary_Ship.pdf
  6. Lol the form I bookmarked says deleted, this form has been moved or deleted. I'm going to email. Lol when I just clicked on the form to submit for stockholders credit this is what came up.
  7. I have the link to the form but lately people said email better. I need to submit a bunch of cruises so I'll follow and see which is recommended right now.
  8. If certain restaurants are excluded it should be updated on their site. Like I was told wonderland not included. Then put it in the terms its excluded. I'd like all ships to have same rules so I can plan before I board what to book. Harmony and grandeur also both said izumi sushi sit down meal excluded. Says hibachi excluded but doesnt say sushi side. Asking here doesnt help much just general if they dont have consistent rules.
  9. Price holding. I'm used to texas time zone and market opening at 8:30 am. Cramer says undervalued, see if hes correct. Ccl is actually down on the year so room to go up. 20 seems resistance so far this year, but I liked earnings.
  10. Vista is one of my least favorite ships. Horizon they fixed some things, like bbq moved inside. I like dream class for their spa rooms and conquest class deck 5 is wide open to walk thru and see the ocean larger comedy and theater spaces. I like seeing the ocean which vista class closed up too much. I did dream in January and it was a lovely cruise. I dont see what's wrong with going back and forth. I started to alternate carnival and rcl when I did 8 in the same year. I preferred alternating Mdr menus. I was getting too much to where I could predict what the menu said and had menus memorized. Agree with above, you have some nice ships on carnival yet to try and see which you like and which things. Carnival wins for fast food which I admit I like. I was a no show again in may, moving had my head spinning and finished up paperwork from moms death, so 2 I missed. But now I can get back to cruising. I'm only booked oct and dec this year. So have time but still unpacking. I liked going back and forth. I was in texas so only royal and carnival were choices for a long while, though now others are coming in. Always things to like on most every cruise though I wasnt a fan of grandeur. It just arrived in texas fresh from the islands and not ready for Texans. Its the one cruise I've been ready to get off and not book again. I was on for 4 legs. Pizza up in the solarium carried up there just was never piping hot, etc. I want a pizza place. Fresh out of the oven. I actually prefer carnival crispy thin pizza. Love white pizza.
  11. I never do the picture any more. Doesnt seem to matter if I do or dont, they take another picture at the port, so I stopped uploading them. I dont think they care about the picture any more. Yes it opens midnight in the time zone the ship leaves from. .. or supposed to. Last time I tried to check in they were down, all night, into the next morning crashed.
  12. I've never seen sales for cruises. There is a last minute site, but generally the sales on cruises all the same. Agree with above.
  13. I dont know if I should laugh or cry. Some numb nut on CNBC was saying ccl was the biggest gainer on the index and the other guy replied he is still caught up in 104 % occupancy. That means some virtual stowaways. Lol I wish I could explain how occupancy is calculated to him. Talking back to my tv.
  14. It was posting a profit that to me is big vs a loss. 11 cents profit, but a profit. Huge in my book. Cant keep eating losses. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/why-carnival-corp-rallied-today-191926946.html
  15. I could have read it wrong, but I only remember seeing $20 pp for playmakers. Dont remember seeing $30 in the last few years. I could be wrong but I'm sure you still get a amount to spend . And prices went up this year on items. It wouldnt cover as much as previously say a year ago.. A year ago you could spend the $20, close out the tab, and run up another $20 tab. Endless. Now its once per day.
  16. Just curious on the wording . .. says you cant transfer to another TA unless you pay the full asking fare currently? I'd think you could transfer to another TA price protected. Sorry, that's crazy if it says you also have to pay today's fares to cha ge to a different offered TA. I hope someone posts the letter. I'm on the Voyager may 2025 TA. And thinking yikes, I was going to book hotels and air fare in the next 2 weeks. I agree $200 obc doesnt cover the changes. .
  17. I would allow more than 48 hours, I'd allow at least 3 days. Planner closes before you board and you cant make changes once the planner locks down. Just go up to details, and click cancel and refund issued to the same form you paid. If you paid with obc, obc returned, if you used a credit card refunded to same credit card you used. Cancelling onboard could be the same terms, 72 hours or 48 hours before. We booked a excursion. They changed the time and rain 100% forecast. First port. Both me and friends in a different cabin were not allowed to cancel for a refund, they said too close to the date of excursion, first port. So dont assume you can cancel onboard. If it's late in the cruise, I'd say yes, but terms and conditions like how many days in advance may apply.
  18. Last night Cramer said people keep acting like this is the last strong booking qtr ccl will have. He was positive ccl undervalued and people need to quit thinking are suddenly going to dry up and prices go back to before covid prices. His show was last night before earnings even came out. There was a segment recently about carnival had such higher exposure to Europe than other lines. Over double what rcl has, like 37% vs 17%. She asked the ceo about europe exposure and ceo came back saying the UK is a strong market for them. They are the ,leader out of the UK. I just saw a friend who came back from P & O and asked us to go over to that board and read his review. He lives in the UK. He sounded very positive. I still have strong believ ccl will come back. I'm in average over 21 and just holding. Ccl turned a profit. That's a huge thing for them finally.
  19. Last cruise on harmony they said wonderland and izumi sushi side not included. Neither are excluded in the fine print, so they finally gave them to me. But each cruise ship seems to ake up their own rules.
  20. I got out the afternoon before rhe storm. My buyer was a all cash AS IS buyer but demanded I pay some damages. He says a tree from next door came down and crushed a galvanized fence, my bil looked and thought the shed next door got picked up by the winds. And dumped on the fence. I havent even seen the damage, but I finally agreed to $700. He was threatening to not close. Idk the legalities of a as is sale ... and whatever crushed it was cleaned up and removed before either buyer or bil saw it. My bil said everyone on his street had tree damage and he too has no trees. I finally gave in and paid for some damages from the storm. I guess consider myself lucky. I had no bed to sleep on after the movers packed me up, so I left about 4 pm. Managed to make vicksburg 5+ hours away. Even if it was 4 pm, it turns out to be a good thing I drove out of town. A younger me would have slept on the floor and left in the morning. It sure must have been a humdinger of a storm. I guess sometime that night or by morning it hit. Sorry your neighbor dumped his bulk trash on you. Not right.
  21. Water aerobics class starts in 1 hour. No more excuses. All the wardrobe boxes emptied, just the 2 dish packs with odds and ends each seems to need thinking about what to do with, like I last pulled out 2 little weights. Where should they go kind of stuff. I got my purple noodle up at a tourist shop on the beach for 4.99. Dollar stores has boxes and boxes of them for $1.25 but not purple. My realtor came by yesterday and we went to red lobster for endless chowder salad and biscuits. My cousin sent me a link for another unit in here 702 that sold. All big tile, no carpet, kitchen has stainless appliances and cabinets changed out. Sold for less than mine so the market is still soft. I have mixed feelings on all carpet. Sure easier to clean no carpet, this carpet shows everything but it's a nice plush carpet that feels good to walk on. I've had a lot of hotel rooms with the no carpet look. I like to walk around in socks, take off my shoes. No carpet i go thru socks like crazy getting holes in them. But prices here continue to be soft, though i love living on the top floor, that unit 1 floor lower. Time to relax a bit. The rest will take time to put together, hang pictures, etc. I'm ambivalent on changing out the carpet. It sure feels nice on my feet. Very plush. Aerobics! No more excuses.
  22. They moved mine to another day and then charged me full price night 1. I said i dont want 2 and told him to cancel the one I booked ahead he moved to later in the week. I think that's why biker said probably have to cancel if you prebook in planner. Every ship treats it different.
  23. FAQ says "carry on only". So why bother if as you say you would have to sneak it on and maybe get called to naughty room if it got accepted at all. People on carnival abused it so much carnival changed to cans only. I dont get why not just carry it on as the rules say. I used to maybe throw a few cans of soda in my carry on, never was a big deal to me. But I never tried 12 packs. So I probably just dont get it. In good with their sugar free flavored water though lol.
  24. Yes you can check the link yourself. If it doesnt accept bids then it's too early. Just enter your information and check yourself. I have never heard it matters when you put in your bid though.
