  1. Thank you for the comments. Where is the walkway with fountains on both sides? M
  2. What time was all aboard or departure? Of course they had stern faces. Your late arrival made 2000 wait and may have cost the cruise line extra fees. M
  3. No one knows what any of it means. “ dressing casual” for dinner (on the ship or on land), usually means slacks and a polo type shirt for my husband and slacks and a nice top or sundress for me. Then there are others who define “dressing casual” as shorts and a T-shirt. Both can be used, and are fine. Wear what you want, as dressy or as casual as it may be, and enjoy the cruise. m
  4. Just dinner. Generally you will need to make a dinner reservation daily. And yes, there is a chance it will be unavailable. You may be able to make the next nights reservation when leaving dinner The suite lounge is not included with Junior suite dinner access If they allow you to sit in the lounge prior or after dinner, just be aware that drinks will not be complementary. If you were given a drink in the past, but not in a full suite, you were lucky. enjoy.
  5. Suite guests are offered a very nice breakfast menu in Chops. It is similar to the dining room menu. No suite benefit for dinner. m
  6. 12 years ago? I thought this was a recent experience. Nevermind. M
  7. The dome is there, but there is no bungie inside. The dome is used for other activities. They had a Zoom class in there in May M
  8. Not sure I understand your point about screaming in another language. Are you saying they were from another country? Perhaps they didn’t understand the signage? m
  9. Say what you will, but there doesn’t appear to be much difference between this situation, and what we’ve seen on other cruise lines. Apparently, Royal Caribbean passengers are no better or respectful than any other cruise line. sad m
  10. Hardly ever to never. Enjoy the solarium. But as noted in another post, be aware that some blast personal speakers. Or, others scream across the hot tub. It is no longer a quiet zone. I wear noise cancelling air pods. M
  11. Dozens of cruises and except for a few bad weather/cold weather days, the Solarium pool was adults only. And, strictly enforced by staff. A hand full of times of over 35 years cruising RCCL, there was a publicized short, designated time when those under 16 could use the pool. Seems children in the solarium ( not pool) is not enforced on embarkation day as many are looking for an area to wait till cabins open. No problem. M
  12. Don't be disappointed. Often a Sale is not really a Sale but simply a new way of presenting the cost info. Watch the bottom line rather than Sale announcements. You can purchase what you need and cancel later should the price go down.
  13. Every set (two or four) of chairs as an umbrella. You can move the chairs a bit to put them into the available umbrella shade. m
  14. The last three should be open. The ice rink has limited skating times and I don't recall that it is available on the first. Have fun M
  15. There is always comfortable seating in the schooner bar. Except for an occasional trivia game, it is generally quiet all day. Boleros or might be an option as well, also during the day. Solarium has a variety of padded chairs. enjoy M
  16. Jean87510 - if you get a chance, can you ask the concierge if he/she knows the approximate Pinnacle numbers for the July 8 and July 15 sailings? If not, no problem. Thanks M
  17. Ship was sold out for our upcoming mid-July sailing. Now a few OV cabins opened. Interested to see the numbers when we sail. M
  18. Assault? They can be a bit pushy, but generally a simple, “no thank you” is sufficient. m
  19. Several years ago, we walked outside of the gates, went to the public boat taxi, and took a boat to Cay Caulker. It was fantastic there. I would love to go back, but not willing to trust the boat taxi again. I will look into the ship excursion. m
  20. If the “hall monitor” was another passenger you showed good restraint. If it was a staff, they are just doing their job. I’m anxious to hear more as we are boarding in a few weeks. Hope you enjoy the cruise. m
  21. I’m sure being on a suite had nothing to do with it. Especially as Diamond members were generally NOT offered tours. Hope you enjoyed the tour. m
