  1. I suspect the variable number determined for Pinnacle access to the suite/concierge lounge will be a number less than the total pinnacles on any given cruise. M
  2. Not only does it vary by ship, but we’ve seen it on the same ship vary from week to week. One week the magic number is 40, the next week the magic number is 30. m
  3. We booked a spacious balcony for 8 nights, over Christmas, for two of us for the ridiculously low price of about $1350. When we booked, the New Year’s Eve cruise was not yet available. I missed out when it was released. m
  4. So a change in pick up location. Good to know. Thanks Don't want to date myself, but when we started going to the Shack, the huge solo cup drinks were $6 and they often topped off our drinks. Haven't been back in a while, but the last time we visited, our pictures (3) were still on the wall. I think we'll head back on our next stop in Nassau. M
  5. I suspect noting white/dark doesn't matter. I understand each order is put is some sort of laundry bag and all the bags are washed together, I don't want to jinx myself, but since the return the laundry has come back in much better shape than years prior. We use the benefit on every cruise it is offered. M
  6. I've never been successful in getting one of the 150 specialty martinis (cucumber, basil, urban etc.) if not dining in the restaurant. I asked Trellis bar staff if they can prepare one and was told it was only available in the restaurant. I once asked in the restaurant and was told it was only available to those having diner there. It is a nice treat on the occasions that we dine at 150. m
  7. Yes, I was able to get a cappuccino with a squirt of flavor for each voucher. I only ordered a small, I don’t know what size you can get with a voucher m
  8. Changes in CK availability have nothing to do with cutbacks. When P were granted access, there were just a handful on each cruise. Being Pinnacle was unusual. I was told (more than once) that the reason for the long stretch from D+ to Pinnacle was to show extreme loyalty. P numbers have climbed, especially since the return to sailing and the venue simply cannot accommodate all those who are now eligible. Some recall being told that P's would always have the same benefits as suite guests, but sadly that just isn't feasible. As far back as I can recall, JS had dinner access if space was available. M
  9. Others suspect it is JS. Pinnacle are often excluded from CK for Breakfast. Now on some ships, Ps get a voucher for one CK lunch and one CK dinner per person per cruise. M
  10. Royal Caribbean is going after a new cruiser. Not someone has been cruising them for years. They’re going under after a younger , family oriented demographic. Those folks don’t know what they missed so they don’t miss it. m
  11. Just for three or four hours per evening or more line late afternoon early evening, well prior to the entertainment lineup it was not every cruise, but only those cruises when there were high numbers of Pinnacles on board and Pinnacles were not permitted to use the suite lounge. It was sometimes used (During the day) as a dedicated meeting place for other groups on board m
  12. We will miss the live entertainment and atmosphere in Jazz on 4. We spent time there many nights. The lounge was lovely, and the entertainment was fantastic. In addition to the Jazz singer and musicians, often some of the production/broadway entertainers would perform there as well. I hope we don’t see a reduction in more live entertainment. m
  13. If you are not in a suite, you will have to knock on the door. Pinnacles have to knock on the door as well. m
  14. I think, that was my original question. What an exciting opportunity. They are just so many times/situation in life that one can take advantage of this type of trip. I hope you have a wonderful time. m
  15. Most people do leave the ship for Coco Cay by 11. Also, a lot of people simply exchange their towel in afternoon, have it in the cabin,, and then have a fresh towel with them in the morning. No need to even get a towel. They likely need two people for activities in case one person is called away. The activity opening/closing is clearly stated in the compass. There should be no need for any confusion or disappointment. m
  16. Some ships can have 100 Pinnacles (or more) on board. Of course, I’m not referring to a repositioning/transatlantic which is very heavy Pinnacle (Often 200 or more.) Pinnacle seating is based upon availability, as is junior suites. Availability is often limited. i’m reading a lot of posts that Junior Suite guests have enjoyed dinner in coastal kitchen. On some cruises, Pinnacles are only allowed to reserve two nights during the week. m
  17. With limited availability, who gets priority— the pinnacle member or a guest in a JS? thanks m
  18. That is the list, but there are many items that are not available. I fear a new "enhanced" list. M
  19. I hope you receive your preferences. We find that they are out of the higher tier gifts quite often. They substitute the 525+ wine list with wines from the 175 list. Or simply leave a note that that are out and suggest you visit the loyalty ambassador for an alternate available selection. good luck m
  20. John, do you expect differences in the on board benefits for those on the world cruise, those who are doing one (or more) of the full segments, and those who are doing some of the smaller segments? If I recall, those on the total world cruise receive a significant number of on board benefits. Thx. m
  21. Set dining times are around 5:30 and 8:00 or so. Shows are generally presented to coordinate with either set dining time. Enjoy M
