  1. We're doing the Chef's Table next month and when I booked it in April 2023, it cost $306.76. We don't pay for the wine pairing since we have the premium drink package. We used the drink package on our last 2 Chef's Tables and it worked well.
  2. We've been at 3 or 4 chef's tables on Celebrity and enjoyed every one. We have one booked for next month. We've had good table companions and bad but that hasn't affected our enjoyment. We're pretty good at ignoring objectional people and even being amused by them. Our last chef's table, we spent most of the dinner trying to figure out the weird family dynamic of the other guests. Only the parents spoke, not the adult children. One chef's table, the other guest were a bunch of young tech workers trying out something they hadn't done before. They were very friendly and we swapped tech stories. All were great guys.
  3. The Chef's Table has been the same on the last 4 cruises we've taken. If it's the same on our cruise next month, we won't book it again.
  4. Were you offered any compensation or the option to cancel and get a refund? We're booked on the same cruise in 2026. It's a long way off so probably not affected but I'm curious.
  5. I'm more interested in if they upgraded the TV and other electronics. We were quarantined on our last cruise on Infinity and the TV was the older one, without video on demand and horrible reception.
  6. Have you tried using a different browser? Or at least not booking on a weekend? The site never seems to work on weekends.
  7. The same is true for my Celebrity Infinity Israel & Egypt cruise but it's not until 2026. I check the excursions everyday for a price drop. I already got a price drop on the drink package upgrade.
  8. Our steward locked us on the balcony on our Oceania cruise. It was on embarkation day and I'm not sure he knew we were there. We called to someone else who was on their balcony and they sent someone to help.
  9. Because the gratuities might go up in price between now and the cruise.
  10. We do it all the time and have never had a problem. We do NOT remove anything of value. We pick a lounger with towels, newsletters or advertisements from the shops.
  11. Not helpful I know, but our Feb. 2026 cruise is on my app
  12. Check the website every day. If you're logged in, sometime it will give you the upgrade price. If it doesn't, figure out the difference between the Classic and the Premium. A "good" price is $6-$9 per day. On one of my upcoming cruises, I got a Black Friday deal of $6 and on the other, I grabbed it as soon as it came down to $9 (the cruise is in 2026 and I'm sure the prices will go up by then.)
  13. Really? After I posted the link, I realized that I hadn't installed it on my new tablet. I navigated to the website I posted and clicked on download. It installed a Aptoide app first, then the Celebrity app. After the Celebrity app was installed, I deleted the Aptoide
  14. You have to side-load it: https://celebrity-royal-caribbean-cruises-ltd.en.aptoide.com/app
  15. Is it worse to put bare feet up on a chair rather than shoed feet? I don't see the difference.
  16. Oceania reminds us of Celebrity back when we first started cruising. Good food, relaxed atmosphere and no class distinction. We love it.
  17. It wouldn't be all the Elite Plus members. It would be for those in the Penultimate level (probably 1500 points). We're Elite Plus but we've need 700 more points to attain Penultimate. It might inspire us to try but we're never going to make Zenith.
  18. I think doubling the perks for longer cruises is a good idea. We don't use all the free bags of laundry but I wouldn't object it the double the number.
  19. I'm sorry, I can't agree. Living on the west coast puts people at a disadvantage when it come to the number of cruise one can take/afford. Back in the day when 5 days cruise earned almost as many points as 14 day cruises, a lot of east coasters racked up points.
  20. That's a really good idea. Good point about free Luminae wouldn't benefit suite passengers. CC get's internet and daily cocktails but these would be more than offered to Elite Plus. We tend to take longer cruise and I'd love to see them make the perks bigger for longer cruises.
  21. Looking at the club points required for different levels, there really should be a level at 1500 points. Assuming they ever create a new level between Elite Plus and Zenith, what perks would you like for the new level? I would like to see: One free dinner in Luminae, regardless of cabin. Free Classic Drink package. 60 minutes complimentary internet per day. 50% off one 7 day cruise when you first attain the level. What would others like for the new level?
  22. We did Alaska, Transpacific (Tahiti to San Diego) and a Mediterranean cruise (Venice to Barcelona). The Mediterranean cruise was at the height of Covid and you wouldn't believe the paperwork for the various countries.
  23. We cruised 3 times during Covid. They were some of the best cruises we've been on. Our last cruise (after Covid) we got covid.
