Yes, we've used them twice.

I vote for staff failure. The maître d should have let the family know that he would keep their food warm while they took the baby out to help him calm down.

Quick question about 'local' food onboard (Millenium)
patty1955 replied to clairebearinaus's topic in Celebrity Cruises
The buffet is defiantly the place to check. We've seen whole halibut in Alaska, mussels in the Caribbean on one cruise and lobster on another Caribbean cruise and tropical fruit on an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle. -
What happens to OBC for shore ex if you are closed out of bookings?

Two months after we booked the cruise, we got an itinerary change. The changed the first port from Maine to RI. According to my original booking, we were never supposed to go to Maine. It was always RI. The excursion pdf shows Maine excursions. There is no waitlist for the snorkeling excursion. When I called they told me they're not offering that excursion any more even thought it's still listed on the list of available excursions. -

We are booked on a Bermuda cruise this Sept. We only have 3 ports, Newport, RI, St. George, Bermuda [1 PM-11 PM], Hamilton, Bermuda for a day and 1/2. There are no excursions available for Newport. We've been to Bermuda before and seen the places of interest. There's only one snorkeling excursions and it's marked "This excursion is closed. If available, please select another time." So, we have $600 credit for excursions and nothing to spend it on. -
"Suggested Tip" is part of the programming on the POS devices. It doesn't reflect the company/employee's wishes. Most people would love to receive tips, not so much give them. If I could get tips for shopping, it would pay for itself. Even Fox agrees that most American's don't like tipping. https://www.foxbusiness.com/personal-finance/americans-are-getting-tired-of-tipping-survey-shows-heres-why I don't really consider them a reliable source but they are quoting Bankrate who is reliable.

The airport shuttle is on the website. Just login, navigate to "Manage Vacation" then "Flights and More". It doesn't show the price until you enter your flight info. The excursion page shows:

I called Oceania. It turns out that excursion is no longer being offered.

How do you get waitlisted? I'd like to book an excrusion on our Sept. 2024 cruise but it says "This excursion is closed. If available, please select another time." when I try to book

Sushi on Five has non-seafood dishes. Their ramen and pot stickers are pretty good

Basic Celebrity cruise questions - first timers!
patty1955 replied to Hilaurennn's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Fruits and vegetables are not even supposed to be carried across state lines, let alone borders. Sodas and waters can be brought on board. I've heard of people putting a luggage tag on a box of sodas and getting it delivered to their room. -

While there are snacks available for sale (chips, etc.) they are very expensive. The shops onboard will have things you might forget (toothpaste, deodorant, antacids, etc.) , they will cost at least twice what they do onshore. -
The Celebrity website has shown a set price menu as long as I can remember. We've never seen one onboard.

My husband had covid on our May/June cruise. He was isolated to our room with free room service. They refunded us for all of the affected excursions and gave us a FCC for the days he was isolated. They did not provide regular checks but hehad to get checked before we were released from isolation. He was sick in the middle of our cruise so no special precautions for disembarkation. There was a bit of a mix-up with clearing him after isolation that resulted in issues with going on our next excursion but it was cleared up fairly quickly.

It looks like you've already replied to a number of posts. Am I misunderstanding the question?
-
Do you have any idea where it came from other than facebook? The Celebrity webpage still shows the same package as usual.
-
Thank you. I'll give it a try

Does anyone have the email address for the excursions department? Our cruise next Sept. shows no excursions for one of the ports and I'd like to ask them when it will be added.

We've already booked a cruise for Feb. 2026
