  1. Same here - we have never been charged for cocktails in the Specialty restaurants on any of our many O cruises.....granted there are a few "specialty" cocktails in the Specialty restaurants that are not covered but all the usual are. I will report if anything has changed when we are on Regatta.
  2. I assume you are talking about the "swag" you receive when you move up to the next loyalty level.....we will be doing that on our next cruise (next week) so good to know they will not be in the cabin upon embarkation .
  3. Not any more - on the TV there are several channels of on demand movies
  4. No - the beverage package includes the 20% gratuity on all drinks covered by your package
  5. As many as you want......we often sit outside Terrace and get to know the servers and they remember what wine we like so they usually grab the bottle and glasses when they see us sit down. Then, often, they leave the bottle on a side table close and refill our glasses when they see they are empty....you can also change wines with courses if you like and don't forget Port is considered a wine so can have an after dinner glass while you enjoy the beautiful scenery!
  6. Yes - the beverage package symbol is imprinted on your card so servers know by looking at your card which type of beverage package you have.....when we get onboard, DH goes to guest services with cards and I head up to Waves or Terrace to find a table, He is up at the table and we are ordering our first drinks in about 15 minutes.
  7. That is a great description of the alcoholic beverages onboard.....should be a sticky on this forum!
  8. Just remember that the OBC is not free, you are paying for it....the difference between cruise only and cruise with O Life is the amount of OBC. If you take the OBC as your O Life perk, it is non-refundable onboard so use it or lose it. You are way ahead to book cruise only and then purchase your own OBC - this type of OBC is refundable so if you do not use it all, you will receive it back. The best value is either shore excursion (any excursion up to $199.00 pp without a letter designation - OS, etc.) or the select drink package (if you enjoy wine or beer during meals - $44.95 pp per day). Generally both of these are a higher dollar value than the OBC.
  9. All cabins receive the toiletries in small individual bottles and bar soap is available (both face and body). Oceania standards are much different than NCL....
  10. Yes - I black out the account number and all other holdings on the page...it still clearly shows our name and the 100 shares of NCLH ownership. Never had a problem for many years and many cruises...
  11. Schwab creates a monthly statement so the next one will be tomorrow.... Go to statements, scroll down and you will see your trade confirmations, click on the trade for purchase of NCLH, you will see an icon for pdf to right and when you click on that it opens up a document with your name, account information, etc. If you scroll down to page 3 (at least on mine), you will find a very neat 1 page with everything you need for documentation....
  12. I can't answer that - our name and account number appear when I print off our account (Charles Schwab)
  13. I am sure you should be able to request a statement from your broker at any time. We can sign into our brokerage account and print off a current holdings statement....that is what we do for proof of ownership. Just print off the page with NCLH on it and then black out account# and any other holdings reflected on the page.
  14. First you must own at least 100 shares of NCLH Then, within 4-5 weeks prior to your sailing, you submit the shareholder credit request form along with a copy of your brokerage statement showing ownership via email or fax. The email and fax number are shown on the form. https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/nclhltd/files/documents/Shareholder+Benefit+Request+Form.pdf Enjoy!
  15. I think it is time to get back to the topic of Oceania App not a discussion on cell phones
  16. I pay less on Verizon with almost the same features but still don't feel comfortable relying totally on a cell phone for important documents, etc. I am glad you are and we each have a choice...
  17. Works great until your phone runs out of charge, quits working for some unknown reason, has no signal, etc.....
  18. Thank you - it is quite obvious that I have read the experiences on this thread because that is why I wanted to relate our experience that not everyone has a terrible time getting their shareholder credit applied. Just trying to give a bit of perspective.
  19. There are many responses that the credit showed up correctly within a few days of submitting. Our experience after many cruises is that the shareholder credit showed up in a few days and was always correctly noted when we got onboard. The only difference is that usually it shows up in the onboard credit (can be seen in your account online) and sometimes it shows up as an amenity (shows up on O invoice). We always have our TA send us an updated O invoice after a few days and it has always been then...
  20. Ours just showed up as a gift order too - I believe when it is designated that way, it is refundable!!
  21. Also, you can take your any bottle of wine supplied by Oceania that is in your room (welcome bottle of bubbly\club loyalty wine) to any venue and not pay corkage.
  22. WOO HOO - Leslie Jon is our CD....time to study up on those groups!
  23. You just choose the latest check in time that shows up when you do online check in- all depends upon when your ship departure time is (must be onboard at least 1 hour before departure -perhaps more at embarkation).
  24. We are in an A1 and able to book any time we wanted but did go online the morning it opened.
