During our Constellation cruise last Nov, the roulette table minimum was $5. If you tap/click on the photo and then enlarge it, you can see the table minimum declared on the little sign to the left of the wheel. As an aside, blackjack tables minimums were never less than $10.

Thank you. I am more a collector than connoisseur. I imagine that you are right that there are other considerations for storing wine securely at sea.

Most, if not all, of the wines that Celebrity carries on their ships do not require decanting. I have yet to observe a sommelier performing it (for the limited number of cruises that I have taken).

While you are waiting for more current experience, I can tell you that we asked this question when we brought our kids on board Mercury back in 1998. Our son nearly met the 3 year old age requirement, but the counselors would not allow him to be enrolled as a Ship Mate. There was a time when Celebrity would allow you to bring in a child under 3 years old to the Fun Factory (aka Camp at Sea), but the parent had to be there as well. I am not sure if this is allowed anymore. And even if it is, I know that you are looking for the ability to enroll your grandson in the kids program.

I am guessing that the equipment is supplied. That's the way basketballs, shuffleboard, and ping pong equipment have been handled. My daughter is hoping Axe-Throwing at Sea is next.

Although it has the size to meet the top suite requirement, the Horizon Suite is definitely not a top suite. It does not have the top suite benefits like the Royal Suite. During the Revolution, Celebrity had plans to convert the 4 spacious Family Veranda cabins on Solstice class into Sunset Suites (now re-designated as Horizon Suites). COVID interrupted their plans and the only ship that has them is Silhouette. There are two problems with the Horizon Suite: the pricing and the layout. The pricing is very high, I believe it is priced in between the Celebrity Suite and Royal Suite. Because of its location and because it is a retrofit, the layout of the suite is not what you would expect from a top suite because the conversion options were limited. For example, the bathroom (which I believe is a standard size bathroom) is detached from the master bedroom.

There have been some recent questions about the availability of pickleball on Celebrity ships. Here is a brochure that Celebrity has recently put together: Pickleball at Sea. There are 9 ships in the fleet that have it. Most roll calls will schedule their pub crawl without making any formal arrangements with the ship. We last attended a pub crawl on Reflection back in Jan 2019 (nicely organized by @sykimball1498). The schedule was published on the back of the name tags that were distributed during the Meet and Greet.

I agree. Celebrity is not required to do anything, but they may if asked.

I would think that Celebrity would anticipate that paying for room service would raise the standards and expectations in passengers minds. Otherwise you will be refunding the fee when complaints hit and then you are back to where you started: free room service.

I like the zenith free room benefit even better.

I wasn’t trying to say you were wrong, I genuinely believe what you posted. My wife and I were luckier.

That benefit is for getting priority to get off the ship via tender which is a bigger deal especially if you have independent plans set up ashore that you do not want to be late to. Having said that, we were mighty tired after a full day of rafting and impatiently waited to get through the tender line. We would end up tendering two more times during this (South American) cruise.

Thank you for posting. As far as what is required, the letter says that an unsupervised, self-administered test are among the acceptable testing options. Celebrity's website (below) says the same. Where is the error?
