  1. Thanks for posting this Live thread. We also were on Constellation for her most recent TA late last year. Your posts are enjoyable to read.
  2. We took this Valparaiso - Buenos Aires cruise back in Dec 2016-Jan 2017 aboard Infinity. Here are the daily newsletters: link
  3. If you end up being a suite passenger, I am fairly certain that you will be allowed in the MDR on embarkation day if you wanted to have lunch there with your family.
  4. Nice PSA. I could have sworn that I have read other instances of this in the past.
  5. Both conference championship games will be available to watch on your stateroom television. The Celebrity Today will tell you which channel.
  6. @Grandmaanne7, Hi, I am sorry that I didn't see your post until now (embarkation day for you!). Anyway I will just say that we went diving with sea lions during our stop (Infinity) at Puerto Madryn in Jan 2017 with a private outfitter. The water was pretty cold and we ended up wearing drysuits that the outfitter provided. The air temperature was not too bad during the boat ride out there. The young sea pups are very curious and they enjoyed playing. Anyway, I hope you have fun time on your cruise. Our son and daughter frolicking with the sea lions at Puerto Madryn (Jan 2017)
  7. I also heard during onboard Galapagos presentation given by the Future Cruises department that a scuba option was offered by Celebrity (pre-COVID). However every time I have inquired on Cruise Critic, I have not found anyone that said that they saw a scuba option offered.
  8. Celebrity has done "kids sail free (as 3rd/4th)" promos in the past in the pre-COVID days. It was not a regular thing that you could necessarily sit back and wait for it to come like you could with a Black Friday sale. Celebrity has not done it since the post-COVID startup but they are fond of taking their promotional discounts and repackaging them in different forms.
  9. Very nice to hear it worked out your way although they made you work for it.
  10. Mystery solved, thanks for sharing the changes!
  11. Yes. Those sailings were released a couple of months ago by the left hand. The right hand is active today.
  12. As posted earlier, your new level will be recognized if it changes as a result of your first leg of a B2B2B. It will be in effect for your second sailing. The update may have to be made manually by seeking out the on board Captains Club host(ess) or whatever they call that combined desk today. After you graciously accept your new Captains Club level, please give them the business by complaining about all the cutbacks past, present and future.
  13. Properly scaled, the Captains Club Tiers should be spaced like this on Celebrity's website:
  14. I just received my 5 points in the last hour, too.
  15. Hey, don't do that or we will also start posting our adorable puppy pictures here (me included).
  16. This wording is appropriate for watching a world event unfolding that is out of their control.
  17. Debbie, I believe that the terms and conditions in the booking allow Celebrity to make changes to the itinerary without requiring them to refund anything. However I would guess that if individuals asked for a refund because of a significant change in itinerary, Celebrity would grant it--they are just not going to advertise it. Also the further in the future the affected sailing is, the better as far as getting Celebrity to work with you. As far as itinerary length changes go, I have had Celebrity cancel our 2021 Asia cruise (14 night Hong Kong to Singapore) and shift us to a shorter one (11 night, 2022)) and in that case they gave us a pro-rated refund for the 3 missing days. A year later, Celebrity cancelled the shorter one (11 night, 2022) and move us to a longer one (12 night, 2023) and they did not increase our fare. David
  18. I am not having any problems with this as of right now.
  19. Your negotiating position has been strengthened considerably. Press on.
  20. Here is a link to my posts concerning the Behind The Scenes Tour: link I noticed that one of my photos is of a document that says no video is allowed on the bridge and engine room.
  21. We took the Behind The Scenes Tour on Constellation last October. I brought and used my DSLR with no issues. Bridge Engine Control Room
