  1. I know this was discussed before, but we’ve now experienced it ourselves. Last fall on Quest, we were able to use OBC for tips. We tried to do it again last month, but we now have a charge on our credit card for the amount of the tip. So now we know for sure…
  2. Totally agree. That’s not the way Azamara does business. If the agent won’t give you a straight answer take your business elsewhere.
  3. I noticed that you have the option of pricing per person or per suite when I was looking at a couple cruises yesterday

    Heike's new home

They do all appear to be very spacious. Love the Hawaii itineraries.
  5. Darned if you do, darned if you don't. The cruises we have booked on the Quest for 2024 have us going to 10 new to us ports. The rest of the ports, we're (mostly) excited to return to. I agree that Azamara is Greece intensive, wish they would return to the west coast of the US. Maybe 2025...
  6. We’ve also booked, b2b Bordeaux on Quest
  7. Already booked b2b! Best itineraries I’ve seen in a long time, mostly new to us ports.
  8. Just read a tweet from Azamara stating that new itineraries will be released September 9th! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  9. They are not offering the Best of the Best yet. I doubt it will happen until the officers and crew are mask free and officers can socialize with guests. That’s not happening yet. There was a special private show offered in the drawing room one night, with one of the guest performers on the ship. No officers in attendance.
  10. Regarding the laundry room, please remember it’s open to all, and it’s not a good idea to lay your undergarments and socks out on the ironing board to dry 🙄
  11. We had a bed sheet worn by a gentleman last cruise…
  12. Journey in August and Quest now have free on demand movies. TV show offerings haven’t changed in years, pathetic really.
  13. 2024 Europe deployments will be released in September, with new ports and more country intensive itineraries. Looking forward to seeing them!
  14. There was a little ad in the insider stating that passes were available to purchase
  15. I asked about release dates onboard the Quest last week, and was told it’s now likely still a couple months out 🙁
  16. He is most likely was giving up commission to reduce the price, not discounting
  17. I don’t think the Atlas drinks are going to work, being served at Spirits in the Den, unless they add at least two more bartenders there during busy times. The drinks are very time intensive compared to regular cocktails. Huge backup last evening once the show let out.
  18. And they now have the new logo, very nice.
  19. We were on the Bordeaux cruise in 2018; found a great wine shop and purchased enough wine for that cruise and the following. Love that Azamara allows you to carry on as much wine as you like
  20. My guess is he’s working on resolving the issue before he contacts you.
  21. We have Matanzas Creek and Whispering Angel on the Quest. Can’t comment on the others
  22. It’s referred to as Spirits in the Insider. Spirits is in the den
  23. We were informed day before yesterday of a port change from Stornoway to Portree, due to adverse sea conditions forecast. Today we’re tendering in to Portree, an absolutely beautiful little port. Well done Captain Johannes! Sadly, someone onboard felt the need to verbally abuse some of the crew as they were unhappy with the change. Captain informed the whole ship yesterday about the incident and firmly told the instigator(s) that if it happened again that they will quickly be removed from the ship. I just don’t understand how someone can consider themselves so important that they think they can treat others so poorly…
