  1. I think you are a little confused about ships and routes. On Cunard, the QM2 does a Southampton to NY and continues to the Caribbean in Dec. after that, she leaves on her annual world cruise. The other Cunard ships do not do cruises to the Caribbean. And a cruise to the Canaries does not continue across to the Caribbean. And in January Victoria and Elizabeth will also be leaving on world cruises. So if you could be. MOre specific about how you want to proceed. EM
  2. Have you checked the S class cabin sticky at the top of the page? Look for reviews of that cabin on any of the S class ships. EM
  3. You need sea days for those talks. Not many sea days in Europe. Maybe more when sailing in Caribbean. EM

I’m not sure there is no bar service in the MDR. It seems to me in Aug people near or next to me had drinks delivered…. EM

    Beware of the mirrors. EM
  6. Per the port website, portCanaveral.com, it is $17/day plus tax. EM
  7. Well, it’s not for me. Not just because the prices are rediculous. Inside quad $6000…. They make it sound like all 14 (?) restaurants are free, and the arcade, bowling…. Wonder if there is a roll call that needs to be alerted? EM
  8. I had My Choice Aurea dining in one of the MDRs on Seaside and we just showed up at a different entrance and were seated. Perhaps @JamieLogicalcould again recount her experience on Meraviglia. EM
  9. I just did a 3 day on Seaside and it didn’t seem like a wild weekend cruise. Ocean Cay will be a nice place to relax, it’s not a water park but lots of beaches. I didn’t try the food venue. It will be a nice change from Maine in Dec. I presume you will not be flying to Miami for just a 3 day cruise…. EM
  10. I thought everyone had to prepay. EM
  11. Perhaps if you ask on the board here for your cruise line…
  12. OMG…think of the people in that deck 9 cabin! I hope there was a place to move them for the rest of the night. Think I would have PTSD if that happened on my balcony. EM
  13. It might also mean there is some degree of decreased view forward due to the irregular balconies of 8042 & 8043. EM
  14. It can depend on how many other ships are in port that day, especially Celebrity ships. On 9/24 she is scheduled for terminal 25. EM
  15. I believe if you were on a ship with the MSC for Me app, you could have seen it. EM
  16. I think if guests are caught loaning out wristbands, the bands should be confiscated. And no reissue if they claim they were ‘lost’. Perhaps they should install facial recognition for entry into YC. EM
  17. You might get a quick answer if you ask on the Royal Caribbean board. EM
  18. Since the kids might have different interests due to the age difference, perhaps consider splitting up, different excursions, one kid per parent. EM
  19. Not on Seaside. I couldn’t even get the current evening menu until after noon. EM
  20. I parked in the garage, lowest level. There was no one parked outside when I arrived, and I wasn’t very early. But when I debarked the outside lots were full. I was just glad to be parked out of the sun. August. But next cruise is December so might like outside. EM

There will be instructions in the welcome aboard paper they hand out when you board. I’ve posted the instructions for Seaside.
