  1. From reports by @JamieLogicali think not. EM
  2. Have you checked your credit card website to see if the deposit went through? I would be on the phone with my TA tomorrow morning. EM
  3. On the website when booking, you have the option to book the cabin only, or the cabin with drinks, etc. since I hardly drink I book the bare bones cabin. Your TA might have booked that option. You should be able to access your reservation both in the app and on the website. I assume you got a confirmation from the TA, and you might also have one direct from MSC. If so, check to make sure the booking # matches. On the website you can click on the person icon in the upper right menu bar to login. That gives you the option to log in using booking number, or to log in with username. Logging in with username should bring up a page with your cruise on it and it will show the correct booking number. Here are some screen shots showing the steps in order. When your booking number is correct you should be able to log into the app. (the app works fine on my iPhone and iPad mini, but won’t load on the full iPad).
  4. Shirt, shoes and long pants for MDR. But I have seen shorts. The ladies tend to dress up more than the men. It’s a wonderful night for people watching. EM
  5. I think it has been reported the cost more onboard, but not a lot. EM

    Dining

If you booked Bella it’s a tossup. If you booked Fantastica you can state your preference of early or late, but you won’t know until you get your cruise card. If you booked Aurea you have My Choice dining. EM
  7. The OP is currently posting on the roll call for the Nov. 13 Meraviglia cruise. There are a ton of pics and videos of this cabin and its port side twin on cruisedeckplans. None of them show an extended balcony. The deck plans for Fantasia and Splendida have a line indicating that area is not part of the balcony. Divina and Preziosa have that ambiguous look. @marti2282to the white courtesy phone…
  8. Can’t get much more recent than the live from on the 9/4 sailing a few threads down the page. EM
  9. The cruise I booked for Dec. went from 1100/1100/1200/1600. I plan to be there shortly after noon. I’m diamond so time doesn’t matter. EM

    Table

What experience did you book? If Bella or Fantastica you will be assigned an MDR, time, and table. It will be on your cruise card, but not the size of the table. On boarding day there will be a place to go to ask for a change of time or table. Now, sometimes tables for 2 might end up being tables for 2…+2…+2…. As in these pictures of the Seashore MDR on Seaside. If you booked Aurea, you might be given a 2 top. The pics posted were from the Aurea side of the MDR.
  11. The buffet only closes early on debarkation day, which may be a problem for consecutive cruisers who wish to sleep in. Below are a daily from Seaside in August, and a debarkation day on same cruise.
  12. Usually a little, seldom a lot. I have the excursion papers for Seaside 4 nite cruise. Most price differences were $1-4. Only large difference was for the Waverunner tour 2 guests, at Ocean Cay $169 instead of $202. I didn’t price compare for Nassau excursions and was only doing it for a friend who will me at OC next March. EM
  13. That may be true, but I think the guests are a little better dressed. But people watching is phenomenal. EM
  14. Go to cruisetimetables.com and from the ‘cruises to’ menu choose st Maarten and time of year. It will give you who is calling there and their itineraries. EM
  15. They should have closed with The Stars and Stripes Forever. EM
  16. If you go back a couple pages to my Live From I posted the menus for both 4 day and 3 day, as I did them B2B. I just bumped my thread forward …it was on page 6. EM
  17. You are bidding an extra amount per person, added to what you already paid. EM
  18. There aren’t any Yacht Club insides on Divina. EM
  19. Host Carolyn has created a roll call for you and copied your post there. EM
  20. Depending on the experience you booked, you may have fixed dining, not freestyle. Just read many threads here, even if they are not about Seashore. The culture onboard will be the same…people dress just a little better in the evenings that, say, Carnival (no NCL experience). The Gelato is divine. Ocean Cay is not an amusement park. Give us a little more info and we might have more suggestions. EM
  21. Disclaimer…I haven’t sailed in YC. But I do know that the first class to have YC - Fantasia class…the YC restaurant is located outside of the YC proper. And that class does not have any inside YC cabins. There are two YC window cabins that out outside also. Also that on the latest class, World, they have double the number of YC cabins without increasing the amount of common spaces. Otherwise, I guess it is itinerary, layout, departure port…. EM
