  1. Yes you can eat in MDR if you are in Aqua. It's best to let the Blu hostess arrange it for you. If you don't when you give your room number to the MDR they will probably just direct you to Blu. To the OP. On the first day you probably want to go to Blu when they first open and explain your situation and ask for arrangements to be made for your cabin to dine in MDR.
  2. Thanks. Do you get any notifications for these bonus opportunities?
  3. Hopefully you are paying a discounted price. That's the justification for no perks.
  4. Are you talking about a time bound bonus? I've seen the occasional bonus on Marriott and Apple but not on Airlines. If so I need to pay more attention. I wish they would have a relationship with Delta Skymiles.
  5. No mistake made. AQ is not valued by Celebrity nearly as much as the 2x+ $$ of suites.
  6. Then as the other poster stated you are in the 100% penalty phase. I do believe you can change 1 name on the reservation until a few days before the sailing. If you purchased Celebrity Cruise Care and cancel for an uncovered reason they will give you 90% of cruise fare as FCC. If you haven't canceled yet you should be able to go to Cruise Planner and cancel anything you booked for a refund although those things as well as taxes/fees should be refunded to the original form of payment automatically anyway upon cancellation.
  7. It weighs on our minds before every trip.
  8. Only problematic if you are positive😁
  9. I always find it to be more in my favor to book a "placeholder" as far out as bookings are open like Caribbean 2025 using a refundable reservation. Then when I find something I want I just have my TA move the reservation changing to to a non-refundable. Gives me much more flexibility than their future cruse certificate.
  10. If you are both Elite it would be one per person.
  11. If soda is still $3 then it's one thing Celebrity hasn't raised the price on recently. I believe they raised to to $3 close to 10 years ago. Still certainly making a profit on it.
  12. Then there is the bed by the balcony, bed by the bath situation. We like bed by the balcony and being on starboard side. For these reasons we always take the first one off the hump on the starboard side facing aft. The easy way to tell bed by the bath is the square on the deck plan indicating a sofa bed, those are bed by the bath.
  13. We were on Equinox in January right after they implemented Starlink. Premium package was capped at 5 down and about 2.5 up according to the IT manager. Latency was pretty good at 40ish ms. This was Equinox in August pre StarLink This was Equinox in January post StarLink Experience was noticeably better due to the reduced latency. We did stream and there was still some buffering but not real bad. Did wifi call with no problem.
  14. I believe the soda package has gone away effective late December. You might try asking onboard. It used to be $9/day.
  15. One where you buy TP in very large quantities. They have a travel department.
  16. The one additional offer just means it's combinable with whatever promotion Celebrity is offering at the time. Currently it would mean you could get the OBC and the current 75% off the second passenger "Sale".
  17. If the price jumped drastically today it could come down in the next couple of weeks as well. Celebrity does allow you to upgrade after final payment as long as it is at least $1 more
  18. Our experience was Equinox in early September. Maybe a ship to ship difference. We were told it was a new directive from Miami.
  19. He could also try a MoveUp bit to Aqua if it makes sense financially when it is offered.
  20. No guests allowed in Blu. You would be able to dine with him in MDR. The Blu rule is one Celebrity is very consistent enforcing.
  21. Yes. Plus whatever the current "sale" promotions are. You will always find this in your cruise documents they email you.
  22. Here is the flyer. 3-9 nights $50 per leg. 10+ $100 https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/Flyers/CEL_Back_to_Back_Offer_Flyer.pdf
  23. You will dine in Luminae. Blu used to be space available to all suites but we have recently been told it upper suites only. But Luminae is way better anyhow. You will have access to Michaels Club lounge which has been rebranded Retreat Lounge on Revolutionized ships but it's the same thing. Your drinks in this lounge will be at the premium package level and complimentary. But outside this lounge your existing Classic package will be used, you will have basic wifi. The difference in gratuity amount between your original booking and suite are supposed to be charged to your seapass account. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Eclipse doesn't have a suite only sun deck. You should be invited to several suite events which can vary from ship to ship. You will enjoy.
  24. On our sailing last month a woman was late returning. They did wait for about 1/2 hr after scheduled departure time with white shirts running up and down the pier. I did see security hand the port agent the woman's passport. She did make it onboard and we were probably moving before she got to the elevator. They will go into your cabin and try to locate your travel documents (including in the safe) and leave them with the port agent. Your other belongings are going to stay on the ship.
  25. This is the one rule Celebrity is very consistent enforcing. They have even recently stated that only the upper level suites (RS and above) can dine in Blu space available.
