    True , backpackers take up twice as much space as a normal human in an elevator.

    I found it a better option than the windjammer chaos on the first day. But i will be joining that chaos on my next cruise. lol .🙂

    All i want to know is , how do people that bring their own full size luggage on board themselves get it through the scanner ?

    We bring two pieces of luggage . I hand the porter 5 bucks and ask him to staple the tags onto them. He seems happy when i ask him to hold the fiver while i dig out the tags.🙂

    We also wipe down our cabin including the drawers and shelves. I have seen videos of shoes being stored on the shelves and i dont want to put my clean clothes in a drawer that may have been previously used as a dirty underwear drawer.

    I went to Expedia site and found some Hampton Inn hotels with high ratings and decent prices with free breakfast included.

    I`m actually looking forward to my next cruise. So... no , i`m not over cruising .

    I sampled a youtube video of the band , and they are very good. I just found it unusual that they didnt have a keyboard player like the originals. They seem to overcome it though. Rock on ! 🙂

    Yes to cafe promenade for hot water . Not only good for tea , but also good to dilute the coffee if you find it overly strong. I give my coffee a quick shot when it needs it.🙂

    I failed to mention that the breakfast is not free. But i enjoyed it and it was delivered to our table with a robot . I had never experienced that before . Quite the surprise .

    I prepay the tips when i book the cruise. I`ll take that few bucks loss on the chin.😆

    I like the breakfast offerings . I usually eat plain cheerios at home , so a couple of sausages and a piece of bacon with an egg omelette is a huge change for me.

    Just threaten to quit if he doesnt go for it. That should work .😂

    I stayed at the Riverside on Los Olas . Nice smaller hotel and they have a great breakfast . Was very clean and quiet. I was in a Tower room which i believe is the newer part of this hotel.

    Plenty of cabs lined up at the terminal also. Short 15 minute ride to the airport . We walked off the ship around 8 am and right into a cab.

    Oh ya, i have had a few afternoon naps while cruising.

    Some people are of a low mental capacity and they are all around us. And its not getting any better either.😌

    Thats a lot of water, good for you for choosing a healthy beverage.🙂 I use a brita at home , and i cant tell the difference between water brands so ship water for me is fine.

    I carry a couple of glasses of water back to my cabin when im done for the evening.

    I drink the '' free stuff '' at cafe promenade .

    Agreed , Allure is a great ship , our last 6 cruises split between Oasis and Allure. We stick exclusively with Oasis class now.

    What if you get off the ship with a back pack stuffed with dirty clothes, go home and return with a back pack full of clean clothes ? Just dont use your suitcase so you dont arouse suspicion .

    If you have meds and important docs ( like passports ) in your carryon you may want to hang onto them and wait until your room becomes available. I personally would not separate myself from my carryon.
