    I checked into my cruise in september , and had both the laptop and iphone app open , to see what would open up first at midnight. They were slightly different times for me. Cant remember which was first though. I wanted an early check in and got my pick. I dont go to bed early so no problem for me.

    Never trust anybody to do their jobs properly . The quality of the people doing their job has diminished greatly. Always check everything yourself.

    On Allure we had all meals in Coastal Kitchen . Its included so why not take advantage of the great service and ambience along with a reasonable menu and food quality.

    You may be able to book your entertainment on line . Others have said 45 days prior to your sale date. The comedy club is a small venue and sells out quickly so do that one first. Try the included food in your cruise fare before you start with the specialty dining as you may find it satisfactory. Have a great cruise !

    I never thought the lobster was that special either . I order it , but no big deal.

    I dont have any issues with the beds . Last few cruises were with Allure .

    Me , i like the 2 tops , one foot apart like they had in MTD . Usually the same table every night . What i liked about it was you can chat with the tables next to you , but dont have to wait for them to get their food before i start eating. Its like a table for 6 , but it isnt. 🙂

    I like your plan. Diamond is where you get meaningful benefits. Dont forget the free expresso in the diamond lounge.🙂

    If you bid on several upgrade cabins , what if you win more than one ? What happens then ? Didnt know you could do that ( havent really looked into this upgrade bit yet)

    We had breakfast every day in Coastal Kitchen and the server would come around with different pastries. You could make a request, as they are most anxious to keep you happy. If you want an expresso or cappuccino, there is a self-serve machine in the suite lounge which is on the other side of Coastal kitchen. Or I'm sure the server would get you one also. Enjoy your cruise !

    There are quite a few options at the buffet also, one floor down from the Suite Lounge / Coastal Kitchen. I have seen them , but never tried any .

    After a couple of minutes of enthusiastic knocking and still no answer, perhaps the crew should enter the cabin for a safety check. I favor RC , but letting this fiasco go on that long is indefensible.

    If it was locked from the inside then they know they are in there . Start hammering the door and let the phone ring off the hook. That would get their attention you would think. Incompetence at its finest.

    I think the Captain totally mishandled the situation. All he had to do was dispatch a couple of hundred of his crew to locate the perps , and this would of come to an end in under half an hour.

    I dont have my sights set on Pinnacle . I am fine with diamond. I dont cruise enough to ever hit that milestone. Congratulations to those that have achieved this level.

    I was in a crown loft on Allure . I think they were 3 pump bottles , body soap, shampoo , and conditioner . They also had bar soap . They all worked fine. Dont think i will be changing cruise lines .🙂

    Considering same cruise next year as the flight is 1.5 hrs to Newark from Toronto,as opposed to 3 hrs to Florida. Did an Anthem cruise once from Bayonne and didnt care for the ship or Atlantic crossing to Bermuda .

    We cruise Oasis class exclusively and when school is in session. Screaming kids are not an issue. Summer and school break times would probably be a different experience.
