  1. How did P&O, or the Spanish authorities, or the airline know ?.🤐
  2. Quite big. Mugs. If the cup isn't big enough for you, making another cup works ok.
  3. I'm the last year we have been on 4 cruises. 2 P&O, 1 RC and 1 Celebrity. We are on Azura again in a couple of weeks. We must walk around with blinkers as we have enjoyed them all. We spoke to lots of folk who felt the same.
  4. Mark.very brave decision all the best to you. I'm sorry I can't offer any useful help, but the folks on here will offer plenty of help. Best wished.
  5. P&O's customer relations need a kick up the backside. Staff at Southampton, those on the end of the phone, are fine, it's the emails that are frustrating....operational reasons.....Really !....On Britannia...no Pulse tonight due to operational reasons.....apparently one tested positive. Customers weren't grown up enough to be told that?
  6. We cruise a bit with RC &X. Sometimes we bid, sometimes not. We have never had a bid accepted. Before the current system we had a call regarding a 14 night med cruise ' Would you like an upgrade to a mini suite for £200?'. . ....yes please.
  7. Yes, I understand that. Also folk who carefully select their cabin would be less than pleased if they were moved, particularly for some obscure reason. I guess that in general, P&O should have more accessible cabins. Normally we select our preferred location, and tick the ' no upgrade box ' as we have done on two cruises this year. on the next one ,In a couple of weeks, it was a bargain basement TA deal, so I accept that we may be moved. TBH, if they do need to isolate folk, it would be because those passengers did a test, failed, and told P&O. We won't be doing that.
  8. I wonder if these meetings really help the cause. You don't see much of mothers pride nowadays.
  9. Just checked. We are on deck 14. P&O said " We won't be moving you and Mrs Zapp as you always speak kindly about us and are understanding of any little hiccups:
  10. We booked him on a day trip from Lanzarote. It has a fast ferry. Fred runs lots of ferries in the Canaries. Where in the Canaries is Soothampton?.
  11. We join on 13th. As we paid ...not a lot and we're allocated a cabin, they can move us to whatever balcony cabin they like. A big wad of OBC would help.
  12. Perhaps a meet is in order. Friends of Beef Wellington and green beans.🤣
  13. Food looks good and I note prawn cocktail and salmon. Chef has obviously been reading this thread.😂
  14. I hope so. We are off again in June, to that Majorca. Should be OK by then. Eastern med cruise in a couple of weeks 22 and sunny forecast. That'll do.
  15. As they only ,reluctantly come into the cabin once a day and can't even be bothered to turn the bed down, or leave a flipping chocolate, I don't want them bringing guided tour parties into my cabin......so there.😡
  16. 2 weeks for us.Starting to warm up a bit now.
  17. I'm 73, old, I don't understand say the woke folk...As somebody who was a teenager in London in the 1960's I can assure you that this debate is not new, but is getting a bit boring. Prejudice?. Not in my world.
  18. Unfortunately DW will only get in the sea in the Caribbean. Best DIY snorkeling from the beach is Barbados....boatyard Tortola.....local bus trip to the beach, about an hour or so on the beach. St Maartan.... Ferry from the ship to the beach. I am sure some of the others will be OK, but ensure you are in a jetski free area. I am not too sure about age limitations, but a swim with the turtles catamaran trip in Barbados is good, but a bit pricey. We have done those with a ship excursion and booked online with cool running.
  19. The thing that frightens me a bit is when your GP Googles your symptoms.
  20. All those wine glasses. I hope you dried them up properly.
  21. I think the extra OBC was £100 per cabin.
  22. That all looks seriously yummy. Well done. The cheese board reminds me of the MDR.🤣
