  1. I remembered that after I posted, so thanks for the correction. Your description of where the Grill 🍔 and Sushi/Cold seafood 🦀🦐 stations are clearer than mine. I tried to suppress the dessert 🍦🍰 🧁and bakery 🍩🍪stations 😁.
  2. From the Points Guy: Most cruise ships require all passengers to be on board no fewer than one to two hours before the scheduled departure time, which is almost always in the late afternoon or evening.
  3. Well, the Grill is on the other side (starboard side, I think) of the ship from the main buffet with the carving station (port side), so if you don't walk around both sides of the WC, you won't see it 😉. Same, if you don’t walk to the port side aft of the ship, you'll miss the cold crab legs, shrimp, and other crustacean delicacies, as well as the Sushi Bar 😋. At least that was our experience on the Octantis on the Canadian Discovery cruise.
  4. Could it be that it was treated as 2 separate cruises, LA to Vancouver then Vancouver to LA, rather than a single extended cruise, which is an internal booking decision. I know Viking ran into problems with this interpretation for its Great Lakes and Canada cruises and has to cancel some bookings. Maybe the US doesn’t use the same interpretation as Canada did.
  5. How about the Seattle to Seattle Alaska cruise which stops in Victoria? Guess it's the same. I understand your question, now.
  6. I think you are mistaken. For example, the LA to LA cruise stops in Ensenada, Mexico. The Seattle to Seattle Alaska cruise stops in Victoria, Canada.
  7. I think Vancouver counts as the needed foreign port, even though it's not that distant...like Ensenada in Mexico works for California coastal cruises.
  8. I want to reinforce @FlyerTalker's comments. Check the overall wattage and the individual wattages. Many of the 4+ usb port devices don’t support fast charging, even if they use the word fast. If you don't mind slow charging they may be your solution, but if you expect fast charging, be aware. The onlt multiport fast charger I have found is the 39 or 45 Watt Samsung dual charger...but I amg a Samsung Anfdroid guy, so iv you're an Apply enthusiast, check carefully.
  9. It's more than throttling. The streaming ports are blocked. The streaming package unlocks the streaming ports. The question is does the internet have enough ship-wide bandwidth to make streaming worthwhile, as the streaming package does not provide any additional bandwidth or speed. Looking forward to your speed test. Have a great excursion.
  10. I think this is an important topic/concern, but those who keep pleading for Oceania to listen to us here on Cc are being a bit fanciful. Oceania does not montitor CC, and it knows that the posters represent an insignificant fraction of its total passengers. What really needs to be done is to let your TA ...especially O-connected TAs...know of such problems and let them carry the message to O. Even then, a larger portion of pax need to bring to real issues to their TAs
  11. The Restaurant is a small venue on the Expedition ships and is treated as a specialty, like Manfredis. The World Cafe, with the Grill, is treated as the main restaurant on board.
  12. Oceania Cruises Amenity Partnership Program (OCAPP)
  13. As others have said, the only requirement for the 25% discount is meeting the minimum number of required excursions. If you have the OLife excursion option, you can combine the two, but it is not required to have the OLife excursion option (or any OLife option) to qualify for the 25% discount.
  14. No. They are included in the drink packages, not in the ala cart drink menu prices.
  15. There's a difference between the WFi speed and the internet speed. For the survey, you are on the ship's intranet, which is the WiFi speed.

    VISTA

Lyn Remind me which sailing you are on. THX
  17. And easy to have ice delivered to your stateroom daily.
  18. Email us at maxwell (period) lutz (at) gmail (period) com
  19. Looking forward to it. We should arrange to meet at Martini's or another libation center.
  20. @PhD-iva. Guess you better stay at home 🤣.
  21. Several who say that are anecdotal if they don't provide specifics, and are not factual. The Oceania FB site quotes folks who have had similar experiences on other lines and are specific. Search other ones, too If you wish.
  22. Sorry, but you can take hard liquor aboard Oceania ships for use in your own stateroom. There are several threads on this topic on this board.
  23. I think @PhD-iva covered the reason.
  24. Happens on other lines, too. If you search for Oceania FB pages, you can find a long thread.

    New website.

We've never sailed on Celebrity, but did sail on Azamara before the split. Our Azamara account appears to be correct with our loyalty points (all from Azamara) and loyalty level. Yet, we started getting daily (or almost daily) emails from Celebrity which claim we have loyalty points with them...the same number as we have with Azamara. Hmmmm.
