Our son gifted us this pkg for our anniversary last month....the mimosas come with your 'order from the b'fast take out' menu which is a card you fill out night before and hang on your door, picked up through the night....it's as special as you like but we did enjoy our b'fast on our balcony. The chocolates and flowers came later in the day. The cake appeared at dinner. I wouldn't hurt his feelings by saying 'not worth the price'. You can order orange juice with your breakfast and spike it yourself with your own champagne. Flowers and chocolates were nice. Cake didn't get eaten...too many desserts on the menu and plus cake...too much. You can take any bottle of wine or champagne to the dining room and it will be served to you. Our butler arranged for balloons all over the ceiling in celebration of my b'day and flower petals ALL OVER THE BED for our anniversary....that was a hoot! However, doing something nice for someone else is never a bad thing. Enjoy your cruise!
  3. I've searched the site for answers as to how long it takes to receive FCC's. The posts were mostly in 2021. Does anyone know currently how long it takes for these to be processed and applied to a credit card? TIA.

  9. You're stretching to prove your point. Lets stay with the 'smoking' issue.
  10. This is most likely true, but you're identifying a very small market with the disposable income to provide the luxury experience on a very large ship. These 'younger' people will not fill that ship (maybe the Retreat). I also think many of the 'older' market want the very same enchancements to their cruise. If you think the majority of either of these markets are overly satisfied with the IV cabins on E class provided for their experience you haven't paid attention.
  11. I agree with post as well, but this is not a fair comparison....I'm not affecting my health by breathing in another's alcohol or trans fats...they just do that to themselves...😉
  12. Thanks for the tip....worked for excursions but NOT dining. Been trying since last Friday with calls to Sales, CVP, Captains Club. Finally got a rep to try to book for me. It was blocked to her as well....so in exasperation I sent a note to President's office. That may get someone to intervene or at least contact IT to unlock my booking (and maybe several other posters with the same problem).
  13. Still can't access dining, but did rebook excursions using one poster's 'round about' way of getting into Plan My Cruise. Trying to get through to X to find out if there is a problem for only some of us, but wait is waaay toooo long on hold.
  14. Just now could access Excursions, all at 35% off, but still not allowing Specialty Dining reservations.
  15. Didn't work for me. I could access the booking page right up to 'cart' then 'try again' message for 2 days.
  16. Cleared history and cache, rebooted, changed browsers. One actually let me in to the page. But now I know its a glitch; won't even let me reserve anytime dining. In the meantime, the times are disappearing...one even has the message 'we're stuffed'...LOL. meaning no times available on that day. I give. They don't want my money, so be it.
  17. I came in the back door to the site to even get the dining option. Are you accessing on a PC, laptop or phone app? I'll try my phone.
  18. As you said on the 'other' thread on this. I CANNOT access dining but some are. I noted 6pm, 7 and 7:30pm are now not available. I can't even book 9 or 9:30 although showing available. Wonder what the secret is. Tried all browsers and some of the PC tricks but nothing will let me in. This is a year out so how can they be booked?

  20. No Blue Button....no Plan My Cruise...... except at the bottom of the webpage buried in their site map. Click my way through that and FINALLY able to access Dining, Excursions. Good...I'll book our anniversary dinner....Then...tada...the same result: "Adding to cart failed, so please try again." Which is the same result all week. Most likely IT is revamping to add the 18% service tax and/or raising prices...which are already tooooo high for the product and considering we've already paid $$s for the # of dinners which include the specialty dining night. Oh well....long way off. I'll keep "trying again"...LOL.
  21. I thought if you were offered blue chip you had to put up X $ first, then a free cabin? Were you at some time registered with them as a Casino player?
  22. We've thought as you but can't find a resort which compares $$ value, entertainment, dining options, room which isn't lost in a big hotel, and beach which is a good walk away from the hotel. All inclusive is generally buffet dining with a poor option for room. Upscale ocean view etc is priced higher than the suite life onboard. The rest I agree with....direct flights, no pre hotel night, cancellations not 3 months out, refunds quickly, etc. 😕
