  1. Thank you for posting this live review, we’re doing the same itinerary next May except on the Silhouette. We will embark from Amsterdam and disembark in Rotterdam. Also planning close to a week in Amsterdam precruise so interested in what you guys do there. What are your ports? Have fun and hope the weather is wonderful!
  2. Very exciting to open CC and see a new cruise posting from you! Your ports look great, keeping my fingers crossed for your upgrade to AQ for the second leg. You’re very lucky to be able to share these holidays with your Mom 😊 Do you need to do any Covid testing along this journey? I’m not up to speed on requirements in Italy/Greece etc
  3. Most certainly the strangest looking Catholic cathedral I’ve ever seen lol. Wigwam seems to fit.
  4. I’ve never seen salads at the Mast Grill…but have never been on a Eclass ship either…is that standard on that class? And the menu also mentions sandwiches…another name for chicken burger? 🤔
  5. Interesting…I would’ve thought with spring melt that the waterfalls would be larger and faster in the earlier months. We’ve previously chosen September to avoid the bugs as well as the kids of summer. May would work well too then apparently. Thanks everyone, sorry OP for digressing!
  6. Sounds mostly perfect…rain is always hit or miss, no matter the time. We’ve had gorgeous weather in September with little rain but that’s not the norm either. Def gonna book a early season cruise next time! Thx
  7. We’ve done Alaska twice but both time in Sept and while the scenery was stunning, having snow on the peaks adds a whole new dimension of beauty. Lovely pics, thank you for sharing! Have there been any issues with bugs? Mosquitoes or black flies? Or ticks?
  8. Nice view from your Airbnb! Is the unit as nice? Enjoying all your posts and the pics, thanks for sharing!
  9. Wow, Jim, your photos are always the best but the series of swan photos are just wonderful! Lucky you early in the season to capture the Mum and her babies as well as the Mum protecting her future cygnets. So glad you’re taking us all along with you! 🦢
  10. This is for a year from now? Or did you mean June of this year?
  11. I enjoyed the Shetland series here in Canada and am now reading the Vera Stanhope series by the same author…I’d be pretty impressed to visit the set as well lol
  12. Happy Birthday! I turned 61 on the 1st! May is a great month isn’t it? 🤣 Hope you and DH enjoy a wonderful holiday…oh, and Happy Birthday to DH as well 🥂 🎂 🎉
  13. Agree about the gorgeous pics…the water colour is mesmerizing. I want to visit now! 🤣🤣
  14. Love the orange jersey! Bringing back lovely memories of the Keukenhof! Glad the weather cooperated.
  15. Hi Jim. On the app when purchasing train tickets under the Joint Journey option what is the full phrase underneath? Wondering what it says between ‘se and on ticket holder’ This might be an option for our group of four 🤔 Also, wow, can really see the family resemblance between Iain and his sister…seems they have the same sense of humour too! Enjoy your reunion and the rest of your time in Amsterdam!
  16. Is the Chihuly exhibit still at the base of the Space Needle…we really enjoyed exploring there a few years back. Incredible talent.
  17. What ports will you be visiting other than Victoria? Hope you enjoy smooth seas and clear days! Cheers🥂
  18. Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday together. Must say I’m a bit anxious already for your dining…after the delicious meals you had on Cunard, and as much as I enjoy the food on Celebrity, I’m hoping it can compete with or even surpass your expectations 😱 Maybe the cocktails will help 🤞😋 😂 Cheers! 🥂🚢 🍸
  19. We love both Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles so Celebrity Central at 9 is where’d you’d find us! Hope you find something fun to do and enjoy the next leg of your holiday. 🥂
  20. Are you snorkeling with Woodwind in Bonaire? We had such a great time with them and I’m sure you will too if that’s who you’re with. Enjoying your review. Thank you!
  21. Thanks for posting as you travel. Are you staying on for the Alaska leg? What is your itinerary for this leg? Enjoy!
  22. Thank you for your wonderful postings, great pictures. We’ve done Alaska twice but both times were in September and I think next time we’ll try an early cruise as you’re doing. I love seeing the snow on the mountain peaks. We’ve visited Juneau twice and neither time the weather was conducive to our trying the Mt Robert’s tramway due to fog or low clouds. The weather in September was great otherwise, very little rain, warm temps, no bugs and lots of wildlife. Hope you continue to enjoy your voyage and I will enjoy cruising virtually with you!
