We will be sailing out of Brooklyn on next March 2025 and intend to park for a sailing with Cunard's QM2. We did park in 2022 and had no problem with space but did not have MSC docking there yet. We sail out of Brooklyn last July but was car service to the port. It was already occupied by cars from MSC the day before. But there was space and those coming earlier got close up. Others parked more deeper in. I believe there is space for handicap close up if you qualify. Some came in earlier than they were told to on their booking slips. So we all have to work out our moves on embarkation day.

It was fun noshing there on one of the sea days going to Canada for 4th of July. Eating a burger, hot dog, fries and icy cold beer on the open deck. Blue sky away from the crowds in the open air.

Hoping it will be restored for our sailing in March 2025 in the Caribbean and warm weather.

I must admit that the Hot Chocolate is good but the special one in the Golden Lion is super. Never tried the Mock's since I enjoy a regular Cocktail. Not a Coffee drinker, I do enjoy the teas especially my favorite Darjeeling or English Breakfast & Earl Grey. The Darjeeling served at the Champagne Afternoon Tea was superb. Personally steeped for you. Someday we have to try Sir Samuels. Satisfied with the drinks and services around the ship.

Honestly, we do not believe in these packages and never bought any since they were introduced. We know a friend - couple that sailed for the first time on Cunard and bought it and really didn't get any benefit related to their choices. They never bought them on another line they favor either If the package plan is a related to your needs and it works for you, great. But not for everyones.

Unfortunately there are those not sailing at the optune time to have such knowledgeable speakers on their sailings and think selected speakers aren't interesting as we enjoyed.

They use to post them in distance past on the Cunard website which was very valuable. Making one looking more excited to board.

I agree with your comments about the rude transiting thru the restaurant when the dining hours ar in progress. We try to keep it from disturbing our meal when we are there especially at lunch time passing thru to the pool. We were also in the past with the previous restaurant there before viewing the passengers by the pool, some in unsightly bathing garments not pleasant to view while dining. Yes, the glass is one way. They can't view inside during the daytime but we can view out. It's a shame there are two ways to transit from the back of Kings Court, a staircase and a staircase from a above deck. This is causing the disturbance. I never saw how many passengers walk thru during the evening meal time.

Cunard's daily service charges vary depending on the type of cabin a passenger is staying in: Queens and Princess Grill Suites: $18 per person per day Britannia Staterooms: $16 per person per day Bar charges A 15% service charge is automatically added to your on board account for each beverage purchase made in our bars or restaurants. This is then shared among all those who work in the beverage team.

We too have since after the Pandemic have experienced the new policy of having the Passenger Card just scanned at the Muster Station and review the procedure for Mustering on the TV if it is called to be activated under emergency conditions. They still do a short review by PA before setting sail. But even before this procedure was instituted, we did bring the vests down to the Boat Stations and were not told to put them on. It's been quite a number of years before that we reviewed on vest placement. Also certain locations are within the ship instead the old style gathering on the Promenade Deck. This was suppose to be if there is an emergency with questionable weather, better to gather in the interior of the ship. We being a longtime Cunarder, we are familiar with the procedures of LifeBoat Drill and how to place a vest on. And not so for those "Newbies" to sailing. But an announcement if any passenger needs further assistance, a staff member would be happy to assist.

Sue-B, I so totally agree with your statement above. We have been sailing with Cunard since the QE2 and look forward to many, many more decades to come. We have tried another brand which on the retirement of the Queen 2 experienced changes which made it clear to our return Cunard on the QM2. We are very proud to call ourselves Cunarders and enjoy the "Old World Sailing Style" as we have met and kept in touch with many others on board. This was what initially attracted us to Cunard and we enjoy celebrating this style each sailing we book. In plain and clear words, we do not support the now a days Mega Capacity size ships being introduced to the Cruising World. They do not also with their feelings. We also look forward to Dressing up while we sail and also participate with other with the Theme Evenings. Yes, optional but it is also a enjoyable way to socialize with other fellow passengers. We look forward with the change of dress after 6. And also participate on Gala - Formal Evenings with the After 6 atmosphere on board. I enjoy describing it as James Bond-ish. There a certain aire on board we feel and enjoy being part of strolling thru the ship during Gala - Formal Evenings. Again, not what we experience at home that often but on board Queen Mary 2, our favorite ship. So it's up to the passengers to select how that wish to celebrate their holiday while on board. We have seen many opinions on the subject of the Vernadh Steakhouse. Granted it does not compare to our experiences at our favorite steakhouse at home. But we were happy the two times on separate sailings with our service and food at Lunch at Vernadh's. Even at home we have rarely been challenged at one of our favorite restaurants. But can tell when there is an alternate chef and not the regular one when the food isn't the same. So each experience can be different to the passengers likes.

True not all presentations will be of interest to all but some we have attended were almost standing room only. It's up to the presenter and how they address the topic and relay it to the attendees. Two sailings ago as I mentioned above we had a Canadian Astronaut and Nephew of one of the Violinist on the Titanic. Each was presented in two parts. There were equal to more attendees in the Illuminations Theater that returned. There was even a post Q&A session setup in Carinthia Lounge passengers wanted to continue on the subject - Violinist on the Titanic. So it depended on the subject and the interest the passengers had. A subject they may personally follow pre sailing.

I must admit that the convenience of having the Lectures repeated on the On Board Cabin/Suite televisions for review is available. But seeing this way is not the same as in person. Viewing it in Cabin/Suite may have distractions that interrupt the watching. Also I personally don't know many passengers on board that would remain in the cabin for about 45 minutes watch with all the other activities available. IOHO,,,,,,Personal viewing them in person does have it's benefit.

We have not had a problem using the Onboard Services ex. Purser Office to book for a Showing. But using the App on the Smartphone is quite easy and see all the availabilities that were there.

Canadian Astronauts, American Astronauts, Nephew of the Violinist on the Titanic, Cinema Stars, Chefs, British TV Stars, Travel Experts, Ship/Marine Experts, so many more to name. They are about 45 minutes in length. Some will be two parts.
