  1. Interesting Question for an Interesting Time Period.....
  2. You may wish to contact Cunard Onboard Services by email and state your needs. They will contact on board staff and a contact you can work with. We've had close to a dozen excellent M&G's all enjoyed.
  3. As of our past sailing we saw 8AM to 8PM on Deck 7, Forward as stated in the Daily Program.
  4. Being a continuous occupy of BC cabins, we have never had a problem with the Deck 13 cabins or the forward section of Deck 12 with obstruction of full sun to the balcony. Yes, those cabins on Deck 12 from the Sun Deck staircase by the Pavillon Pool and far-est cabins to around ex. 12028 does have lip from the Sun Deck Partition.. But from ex. 12028 to Forward are open to full sun. Except when you get closer to the front, you will be obstructed by the Bridge Wing sticking out. We are careful when booking cabins on Deck 12 when booking. And because Deck is so far to the front, we opt to past them up for stays. Also, the walkway above Deck 13 never bothered us during our 14 day sailing even with people standing up there. Your choice....
  5. I enjoy the alcove on the starboard side of QM2 Library past the Bookstore. Nice and quiet to reading and settle in.
  6. BTW..... My heaven too! But becareful not to fall asleep with the motion and sounds...
  7. Living by the VZ Bridge, I remember when sailing back into NYC on the QE2, we use to come in heading to Manhattan, going under the bridge around 5AM for a 730 arrival along the Hudson. Lately we once a year and half ago in the Fall heading to Red Hook Brooklyn on the QM2 we came under the bridge around 330 - 4AM and docked at 6AM. So you also have remember you have to deal with the tides of the locations and time of the year.
  8. My DW is not keen with the water on board and prefers bottled water. We get bottled water for the restaurant which of the bottle is not finished will be held to the following day with no problems. I have no opinion on the water and use it as if it was what is used at home.
  9. We like the Queen Mary 2 and all it offers since 2006. She is 20 year old but still has the atmosphere and class we are attracted to.
  10. We enjoy- St Thomas Barbados St Maarten Curacao
  11. Now I know which one you are speaking of. On last September's 2022 NE/CAN I had it in the Golden Lion. It was elegant and tasty and very super. A true picture I remember. We also like the Belgian Hot Chocolate in the package also on the run.
  12. If you are talking about the HC in the Kings Court, we now get it from Amazon for the house...
  13. Dear Maria and Marshall, Welcome on board as of your booking. Being already Cunarders with TA experience you know what you are in store for. Elegant good time. I would not really worry about the children subject during our sailing. Just think about the good times and all the beautiful tropical scenes we all will be enjoying. I personally will be thinking about losing some lbs. to enjoy the cuisine and fit in the Tux. BTW......there is a Roll Call started you are very welcomed to join if you wish...
  14. Biscuits and Sausage Gravy I've heard
  15. We are on that cruise and done many QE2 and QM2 in the spring in the past to the Caribbean and never saw that many like Easter and President Weekend. Also many are still in school till the next school release time. It is also pleasant time to sail to these 7 islands that attracted us from many past sailing. Would welcome you on board.
  16. There is a March 2025 14 day 7 islands Caribbean sailing which we are going on. QM2 has not done that since 2013 during that time of year. Yes they do go for Nov and Dec to the Carib. Search Cunard 2025 QM2 for her schedule if you are FYI
  17. The line we remind with and enjoy is the Cunard Line. Our favorite ship which we like all that it offers to our liking is the Queen Mary 2. The newest ship but not yet experienced in the line will be the Queen Anne. All have their favorites and which holds there preferences.
  18. We really found it interesting to sail on her from the beginning of our sailing history and the changes we experienced. Tables of the World to Mauretania, Columbia to Caronia, Double Down Room to Grand Lounge, Atlantic Shop to the Harrods Shop.. We always enjoyed the original Midnight Buffets in the Columbia Restaurant with all the tables of goodies. Flambes (Banana Foster), Bread, Seafood in the Ice Craving, Carving Board, Desserts etc... One of a Kind Buffet we remember. Also the the Officer Cocktail Party we were invited in the Senior Officers Ward Room under the Bridge. She Was Grand!
  19. We had no problem with the strolling along and around the Promenade Deck of the QE2. After the first time and adapted to the transiting thru the inside and to other side. If we wanted to take a break afterwards, the final round we would climb the view the magnificent views from the bow of the ship. Besides the rest of the day stroll, always 5 rounds in the morn before breakfast..
