  1. Here's my read, they are asking us to re-submit questions, they didn't have to do that at all even if they lost them all. I'm guessing they got slammed with bots which submit an ungodly amount of questions so they now fixed that. But at the end of the day, we shouldn't be surprised if this is 95% propaganda
  2. Clearly, that extra data would overload their servers again
  3. It's called the "Blu Cheese Souffle" in Blue and this is/was what it was called in the MDR
  4. The menus aren't really updated until roughly a week or so before and even then, up to the very end, there can be a tweak here and there. I believe it's offered on the first chic night
  5. For the most part, only Southwest (the majority being from CA), go to these ports; it should be noted that the water is cold in the winter. Everyone else seems to go to Cancun/Playa Del Carmen/Tulum, its usually much cheaper than cabo and the water is warm year round. I've been on 3 X "mex riv" sailings since late 2022 and 4th one with Carnival. They're only 50-66% full and folks even complain about cabo because the peddlers offer them hookers, blow, cuban cigars and weed
  6. It's not IT, it's person/team on board not going in and updating them
  7. I believe the overall point the OP is making is even if LA is cheaper for X than SD is, could SD attract more passengers and be more profitable? I think its a very undesirable itinerary and the older ships aren't helping yet even if they put an E-Class ship there I doubt they could fill it
  8. Now that the dust has settled... The challenge with specialties is it can be difficult to obtain dinner reservations before 830pm; the real kicker is when you approach the host stand at 6pm, see it only half full and they no reservations tonight (they apparently hold some for suite guests)
  9. It's really too bad the port isn't connected by the BrightLine high speed train
  10. As stated, I did say "brand new", therefore I'm under the impression this only started this month
  11. This is apparently a brand new rule, no idea exactly when it first started and if it’s only on the summit or is what the summit crew is saying is true, that’s its fleet wide
  12. At the moment you can still get it all but it’s apparently by request. I have friends on the summit and they were told this is now fleet wide
  13. If 7 nights or longer there is free lobster on one chic night. The equinox does both 6 night and 8 night sailings and has been causing confusion Just first the pillow chocolate was reduced, it’s left first and last night and you have to request it for the other nights
  14. It should be noted that the FL ports are still down 15-20% from 2019, the last full before the pandemic. It wouldn’t be surprising if Miami regains the top spot in the near future as it has more terminals
  15. No guarantee you won’t tender so you should ask X on X/Twitter as they’ll let you know for sure
  16. Should be in "Your Guest Vacation" Documents which were emailed to you. If for whatever reason it's on there, send a DM to X on X (aka Celebrity on Twitter) to ask if you're tendering, they're really good with answering questions yet they're just as pointless as emailing them to complain We went to Phuket and we stayed overnight in a hotel in 2020 on NCL which tendered. After the tender, we cabbed it to the Phi Phi Island ferry, ferried and stayed the night in Phi Phi. If you book a hotel, email them in advance to ask if you can send them a pic of your passport to expediate check in. And I'll share, our return Phi Phi to Phuket ferry was delayed due to rough conditions and we encountered a moped accident which resulted in a complete traffic standstill for a few mins. We just barely made the all aboard I recommend telling X you're staying overnight and share the overnight hotel name and/or the address (if staying in a friends/family members home), its helpful to them if there's an emergency
  17. On Celebrity you'll need premium for phone calls Native = Regular calls which includes wi-fi calls. 3rd party calls = whatsapp, FB, etc. Some claimed to have the Basic and were able to "make phone calls" only to later discover they did so over Whatsapp which is obviously a different kind of phone call. It's called "native" because when you first buy a phone, only the phone app is loaded; 3rd party apps that can make calls won't be loaded onto the phone yet
  18. He produces good content yet he's too monotone for me to fully pay attention to him. Jay from TheShipLife is as balanced as you can be. He's former crew so can share perspectives others can't. He does reviews and cruise news, he has been accused of being click-baitish but those are his "cruise news" video, not his ship reviews
  19. Basic: You CANNOT make or receive native phone calls, you can use third party apps like WhatsApp or Facebook for calls yet if someone calls your phone number, your phone won't even ring Premium: You can make or receive native phone calls
  20. Very fair and as I did mention, "unless things changed" but even then, it could be allowed but the day board is the same day they changed that rule. So it would seem best that the OP add the person now and remove later if they don't go
