  1. You are asking for opinions, and mine is that RC is very happy with the new process. I think that it will remain. Or, as @brilloheadexpressed it, this is the new normal. And I'm fine with that.
  2. The Oasis now requires reservations for all of the main shows: Headliner in the Royal Theater, Aqua80, Frozen in Time, Comedy Show, CATS.
  3. Royal Caribbean customer reps/phone bookers will suggest this all the time.
  4. 1. Answered well by others. Check in = suite. Concierge Lounge - maybe, depending on how many D+ are on board. Of course, you can always use the Diamond Lounge. 2. Casino does not open until Day 2, and closes at 7 PM. on the final night. And all of the shops close then on the last night, too. Very annoying. Includes the photo gallery. Get those free pictures earlier! 3. Chops is the only specialty restaurant. Truly bizarre, in my estimation, since the SMALLER Vision class ships have three. Because Enchantment was stretched, she carries more passengers, but the Windjammer and theater were NOT enlarged. Both can get crowded. 4. Did you get the email about our changed itinerary? They are skipping Charleston. I am NOT happy. That's the only port I care about on this itinerary. Been to the others a LOT of times. 😞
  5. Vision class ships (of which Enchantment is one) have far fewer balcony cabins than Radiance class (Brilliance). There was never any chance that all booked balconies on Brilliance would transfer into balconies on the Enchantment. But I agree with Spunky's reasoning. Port intensive - consider your cabins just a place to shower and sleep. Enjoy the Mediterranean!
  6. Oasis is so far from the land that when you look out the window or on the pool deck, Atlantis looks very close. For anyone who has been here before, that's a big difference. I hope that they are planning on running trams. 🤞 It was soooooo hot.............I stayed on board in the airconditioning! I agree with Radio - probably closer to 95 AND probably 95% humidity. <wilt>
  7. As written above, Helen, you no longer book shows before your cruise. You book once you are on board. Check in becomes available 45 days out, which for a cruise on November 12 is September 28. 🙂
  8. Not only is that prohibited by local ordinance, but - overnight in the "cooler"? ewwwww
  9. Message RC on their FB page - you should get them within a few hours.
  10. So, that's $60 a day. Are you good with spending another $60 a day on your stateroom? Or would you rather have $60 each day to buy a specialty dinner, and excursions, beverages, internet? It's all up to you. (and for me, it would also depend on how much I was already paying for that balcony cabin)
  11. Yeah. They're not doing that any more. No one seems to care. No one seems to "confess" when they have Covid. Everyone just goes on with his/her cruise. Welcome to the new normal.
  12. Do Not Click. Do Not Click. Do Not Click. Do Not Click. Do Not Click. Do Not Click. Do Not Click. Do Not Click. Do Not Click. Do Not Click.
  13. @JessicaB, you do not need to wait for the "kit" or the certificate. Just call the regular C&A number and ask for the Pinnacle specialist. They have you in the system, and know that you are eligible for that free cruise. They will happily book it for you.
  14. It’s not a matter of getting caught. It’s “will the server give him two at once,”
  15. I think that the question is about special times for the flowrider and rock wall "and more" (according to RC's description on the website)
  16. They no longer look at your vaccination card. I just checked in with only my passport and setsail pass. (on my phone). Since you have to show your setsail pass a few times before you step on the ship, I wish that I had printed it out. Easier (IMO) to carry a piece of paper in your hand than your phone, when you are pulling luggage. I like to put my phone away while on the move.
  17. The account will list the name of the bar where the drink is purchased. Unless you lie to your parents and tell them that you bought a $12 Coke at Boleros, you are not going to get away with it.
  18. Diamond Balcony Discount When Booking More than 6 Months from Sailing Date: $125* for sailings of 3-5 nights $225* for sailings of 6-9 nights $325* for sailings of 10+ nights *When booking less than 6 months from sailing date subtract $25 from the dollar amount.
  19. When you have purchased the five night dining package, you make your reservations once you have boarded the ship. You can dine whenever you want, based on availability. The sooner you board, the sooner you go to any restaurant and make all of your reservations, the more likely you will be able to get the times you want. You can also use the app to make those reservations, once you are on board.
  20. You can buy 24 hour access on board the ship. Using their computers doesn't change anything. Prices are the same regardless of the device(s) used. Explorer's computers are on Deck 8 by the aft elevators.
  21. 10:30 isn't boarding time. It's check-in time. Boarding will begin as soon as the ship is cleared from the previous cruise.
